New Release Date coming soon
Boris Meets Father Christmas is the second in the children's book series, of the adorable cat Boris and his magical adventures.
This beautiful book is set for release date 01st of November, so be quick to mark your calendars to purchase in time for the little ones for Christmas.
It is filled with adorable illustrations provided by my illustrator, Prabir Shakar and will follow how Boris is selected to ride with Santa in his sleigh on the all important night.

What am I busy doing
Hi everyone
It has been a few days since I wrote my last blog.
It's been hectic. My book Who's Watching Who came out last week, so far I've had a few sales and I'm really happy as it was such a great book to write.
I have been busy with the promotion of this book and also the continued promotion for Boris Flies to The Moon. A super lovely children's book that all the children are really loving It was a joy to write this little book about my cat, Boris.
The second book is coming out on the 01st of November, so watch this space.
Alongside this, I am currently writing a new book, a romcom this time and I am thoroughly enjoying it! It will be released on the 14th of February.

Today, Who's Watching Who was released and is available on Amazon.
A psychological thriller that will have you turning page after page. It was quite a journey to write this book as it centres around the topic of narcissism and mental abuse.
The book sees Clare our main character set out on a path to seek revenge on a man who has emotionally scarred her.

Boris the cat will be appearing again shortly on 01st November in a new adventure with his cat family, Boris Meets Father Christmas. Will be sharing the link after the Halloween Season is over.
Currently I am working on a new title, release date 14th February (title will be disclosed closer in). It is a deviation from my genre and is a romantic-comedy. It will be filled with plenty of laughs, tears and warm-heartedness. Very excited to be working on this venture right now.

Exciting News
Some really exciting things have been happening the last 8 days.
Boris Flies To The Moon was released and has received a great response and some people have already shared lovely reviews. I'm so pleased as this was a real labor of love and is all about my cat, Boris who is such a dreamer, truly reflected in the book.
This is the first of a series of books coming out, the next one will be released at the end of October. Stay tuned for more information.
We're also setting up a record label called OAP - will post more on this when we go live!
My third work, Who's Watching Who is set for release on the 12th of September and I will be sending out a trailer shortly.

The Defect by Jeff Bailey
Hi everyone.
I wanted to share with you what I have just been reading.
The Defect by talented author Jeff Bailey. I've written my review below and would encourage anyone to put this book on their reading list.
I received The Defect two days ago and could not wait to begin reading it. Once I started, I found it difficult to actually stop. It's a really exciting and thrilling read.
The author, Jeff Bailey has significant experience within the nuclear power industry and this is so evident as you read the book. Right from the beginning the detail and wealth of knowledge is transparent. This book was fantastic right from the opening with a written scene of a man driving along with his window open listening to a Beach Boy's track. All is relaxed and he has, it would appear, no care in the world.
As it transpires, a terrorist 'family' (group of men) are getting set to carry out an act of terrorism at the plant where he works. The characters are so well defined. In fact the whole book is well written and engaging. Jeff Bailey has done an absolutely superb job of explaining the workings of a nuclear power station, and I was absolutely fascinated with this. The confidence and flair with which Jeff Bailey writes, makes the book an enjoyable read. It's so clever, the pace is spot on and you just want to keep reading what is going to happen.
The thing that captures me the most, is that I read on Jeff Bailey's author page that The Defect is based on some actual events that took place. From the Author's page, I quote: "based on the nuclear accident at Three Mile Island NPS in Pennsylvania, and on an attack at the Watts Bar NPS by a lone gunman."
This alone is enough to get your attention. I am an avid reader and I have to say, The Defect is one of the best books I have read so far this year. A Huge well done to Jeff Bailey for putting this together and out there. Can't wait to read more books by this author. If you haven't already read Not On My Watch by Bailey, get it on your reading list. Another great book.
I can highly recommend The Defect and Not On My Watch. I've awarded The Defect with 5 Stars because it is worthy of such a rating and well it is just incredible and fascinating to read.

Book Review - Suzie Buttler's First Day of School
Very well written and entertaining children's book. The artwork is fun too. I think any child and their parents will enjoy this book. I especially like that Van Valkenburg has shown that despite appearances as children/adults/people we can over-come them. There is a really touching "lesson" in this book and Van Valkenburg gets it across exceptionally well.
With perseverance and graciousness little Suzie Buttler wins the day.
I can highly recommend this book.

New Children's Book Out Soon
Pleased to advise, that the first in the series of children's books for 0-6years will be published at the end of August.
Title; Boris Flies To The Moon
The draft book arrives with me on Monday 15th of August and I am really excited to see it. I've worked really hard on this one and with the amazing illustrations by Prabir Sharkar, it's turned out to be a lovely book.
