AUDIO BOOK NEWS
Good morning everyone and for those of you out there, Happy St Patrick´s Day.
Wow the year has been going so fast and I have some exciting news.
I finished narrating and producing the audio for my psychological thriller, Who's Watching Who and the links to all major retail outlets will be available any day now.
This has been an exciting project for me as the start of releasing all my adult fiction books to audio. And it was fantastic to get back in touch with my characters. I also did some tweaking to the actual manuscript and re-released it on Amazon and Kindle so now it is enhanced.
Follow me here for news and updates on my work and what is coming next.

AUDIO BOOK COMING SOON
Happy Monday everyone.
How is your Monday going so far?
Mine is going well and it will be another busy author week for me.
Currently I am narrating and producing the Audio format for my psychological thriller, Who´s Watching Who which has received Five Star reviews here on Goodreads and on Amazon.
I am providing all my books to audio format this year, and this one will be available on all major audio platforms during end of March/beginning of April.
I am absolutely loving narrating it and touching back with Clare as she plots her revenge against Jonathan her abuser. This story is both tense and gripping and I have to keep my pace down as I read it. In fact it´s like reading it for the first time.
If you've not already read this book you can purchase it on the link below and if you enjoy Kindle Unlimited Subscription even better as it is FREE with KU.

Audio and Bilngual Books
Hello everyone
I hope you are all settling well into 2023. I can´t believe we are already at the 4th of February, the time has simply flown by.
I wonder what your January was like and what great books you have all been reading and or writing.
January was exceptionally busy for me. I finished editing my romcom, Jimmy Choos to Cleaning Loos which was published with Amazon on the 23rd of January.
I narrated and produced my first audio book, Boris Flies to The Moon. A delightful children´s book available on audio to over 44 outlets. Links to follow. This was a fantastic starter experience for me and I am now happy to have partnered with Findawayvoices to produce my books Dakota, Who´s Watching Who and my Jimmy Choos book onto audio in 2023. Very exciting year ahead.
I also finished writing my horror book and on the final edits. Releasing end of February. This was a complete change of genre from my romcom, but I loved writing it and can´t wait to share it with everyone soon.
I also created and published, it is just in review with KDP, my first bilingual book, Spanish and English of Boris Flies to The Moon. Little Boris cat book is having a wonderful journey this year. There will be three new books to follow in 2023 and all will be on audio too.
What else is new, ah....I started a new love-romance book (LGBTQ) which will be releasing in the Spring.
So it´s been a manic January for me and I am off to Cairo in a few days and really looking forward to a most wonderful few days break.
Take care

NEWS NEW ROMCOM
Hi everyone
Thank you for following me here and being friends on Goodreads. It's always a pleasure to be able to see what everyone else is reading and be acquainted. Thank you!
Some exciting news - my new novel a romantic comedy, Jimmy Choos to Cleaning Loos, is available on Kindle next week. The paperback version will be out on the 23rd of January.
This is a super funny, heart warming story of a young woman whose husband announces one day, that he is resigning from his role as a CFO in a large corporation and moving them to the heart of the Spanish countryside and taking on a large house reform project.
Will their marriage survive the ordeals of Isadora as she tries to adapt to her new surroundings, in a foreign country with no friends or family around her and worst of all no more champagne lunches at Harvey Nichols or Jimmy Choo shoes.
I hope that this year has started off well for you too. I'll be updating my blog over the next few weeks with some more exciting news on my upcoming Horror book and my children's bilingual book, Boris Flies to The Moon as well as being available in audio format.
Best wishes for a perfect weekend

Christmas
Hello everyone
I hope that the run up to the holidays has not been too stressful for you.
My tree and decorations went up a week ago and took me across five days to decorate the house. I like to take it easy and not rush everything at once, I get a lot of joy out of seeing the house transform over several days.
How do you intend to spend your holidays? With friends, family or just a quiet and peaceful time at home with your loved ones?
I will be at home with my furry babies and my doting partner. This week sees me finishing the final edit on my new romantic comedy out in January, Jimmy Choo's to Cleaning Loos. A story of Isadora and her husband, as they leave their perfect lives behind to start a new life in the Spanish countryside. A book filled with some very funny moments and also the sad, but I am positive it will leave you with a very feel-good-factor at the end. It was a joy to write, and I took much of my first-hand experience of moving from near London to Spain for the book. Some bits are based on my own experience.
Also, I will be catching up with my TBR December books. I've read some amazing Christmas books (listed below) all of which I have awarded five stars, so be sure to check some out if you're looking for some seasonal joy and holiday feeling. These won't disappoint.
Christmas in the Scottish Highlands - Donna Ashcroft
Christmas in the Little Irish Village - Michelle Vernal
Starry Night - Debbie Macomber
How to Save Christmas - Laura King
We'll Have a Wonderful Christmas - CP Ward
On my TBR for the end of the month are the below books, which I am really looking forward to reading
Wrapped up in you - Carole Matthews
The Christmas Wish - Carole Matthews
A Mother for Christmas - Jackie Weger amongst some others. I aim to spend a lot of time reading.
In case you have missed it, Boris Meets Father Christmas is available on Amazon. An adorable children's book for 0 to 6 years. Filled with beautiful illustrations, sure to bring a smile to your little one's faces and give them many hours over time of joy.
I will be sending out a blog post at the end of next week to wish you all a very Merry Christmas

Author Updates
It's been nearly a month since I wrote my blog.
Nanowrimo took up a major part of the beginning of November, I completed it on day 17. It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, since I am a disciplined writer and do write a minimum of 1500-2000 words a day around my full time job.
I finished my romantic-comedy that will be available in January, title release coming soon and looking forward to sharing this new book with everyone.
I am just over the half-way mark on my new work in progress, a horror story. It will be published towards mid-to-end of February time.
There's a lot going on for me that is super exciting with book launches and new projects for 2023.
I hope that wherever you are, you're having a super smashing day.

How to write a book in a month
Like most of you I work full time and have limited time to write. I have, however, written five books this year, four of which I published. My fifth book a romantic comedy comes out in January.
There are some tips I wanted to share with you, about achieving a goal of writing an average 85-90,000 word book in a month.
Firstly: find a time that you can write on a daily basis and let everyone around you know it's time for you and you alone. For me, it's usually from 5-6:00p.m and as I'm a fast writer, I usually achieve 1300 words. I sometimes write in the day in my lunch break which takes me to my daily target of 3,000 words.
Secondly: I find having a weekly word goal helps. This isn't for everyone, however, I set myself a target of 21,000 words a week. As I have a Wednesday as a free day, I tend to write 6,000 words and on the weekends I can achieve around 12,000 words.
Thirdly: Take regular breaks. Some people can sit and write for hours. I'm not one of them. I like to have writing sprints for 40 minutes then take a break. This allows my mind to refresh and for me to gather what I've written and to have a check that I am still going in the right direction.
Fourthly, edit as you go along. I don't tend to edit my work until half way through. This ensures I have not missed any major plot hole. I like to have a read through at least 50,000 words into my manuscript. I do my grammar edits at the same time. There is for me, nothing worse than getting to the very end and then realising some things are just not hanging together. As most writers, I procrastinated an awful lot when it came to editing. Instead, I now edit at half way and at 75,000 words.
Fifthly: Once you have finished your work, give it a week or two even before you go back to start your editing process. I do have a beta reader who reads as I write. This helps me to have a more efficient process for time-to-market and publication.
Any questions or comments, I'd love to hear from you so drop me a note or comment.
I hope this helps you to achieve your writing goals.
