Exciting news, coming soon.
A day in the life of Russell Sprout will be available soon. Currently, I am working extremely hard on multiple projects.
I am very happy and I am enjoying what I am working on. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal anymore than what I have just said at present.
2025 has been an excellent year and I look forward to revealing more in the future.

Currently, I have no time at all to be online unfortunately. It has been a very hectic and fun filled year. I feel lucky, blessed and very tired lately 💤😴🥱
But it has been fantastic and I am very happy with the progress of things. I did used to spend a lot of time drawing for art websites, but with my health problems and Osteoarthritis I decided to focus on what matters.
Being on art sites and pushing myself so hard really did not help my health conditions, as my health declined I started to realise that being on art sites and drawing consistently is not important.
I came to realise that my hands are important, pushing myself till my hands are swollen and sore, to the point that I cannot pick up a pencil. It was then that I decided to only focus on what matters to me.
As soon as I can share more, I will give an update. I have much to do for the remainder of the year, so I need to focus and crack on with doing what I love to do the most.

New book coming soon.
I am really happy and excited to let you know about my new book that is coming soon. It will be available to preorder soon.

It is a brand new fresh adventure that will teach basic Food nutrition, it has many character’s and I hope it brings a smile or at least makes you laugh.

I have qualifications in nutrition and wanted to create a book where fruit and vegetables have lives, they have names and family. But above all it will teach younger generations as to why it is important to eat fruit and vegetables.
I would like to think that it will encourage readers to at least try and eat more fruit and veg for the health benefits. As takeaway places pop up everywhere I feel it’s important for younger people to understand that home made and fresh is always healthier. That takeaways should be a occasional treat and not to be eaten Monday-Friday for health reasons.

2025 Happy New Year
I just want to wish everyone on Goodreads a happy new year for 2025, I may not get a chance otherwise.
I hope it brings much happiness and joy to you all. I am actually quite excited for 2025, although my drawing tablet no longer works. I am extremely excited to get back to writing and that’s what I will be doing as of the 1st January ongoing.
I am not sure when I will be able to draw again but I am super focused on writing and will not allow any distractions to take place this year at all.
I may add a blog on my website and I will be running some giveaways and competitions at some point and will add that on here and my website when it’s active. The free pens is still active so there is plenty of time to claim one or two.
I will be giving away bookmarks soon, so to any avid readers who would like a free bookmark the details will be available soon on how to claim them.

Good morning 🌥️☀️
Hello,
After a great night sleep, it’s time to put up the Christmas tree. 🎄🎄🎄
I really enjoy Christmas and there is so much to do. Shopping, wrapping gifts, writing Christmas cards to friends and family.
I hope most are looking forward to it, but it is that time of year when we reflect on those who don’t have. People who are homeless and those that are lonely and have no one. The ones who struggle, that don’t get gifts or the ones who cannot cook for themselves or get a Christmas dinner.
I am sure we all think of these people, I will be cooking for my elderly neighbours and an older veteran down the street who is disabled. It’s something I have done for years to help them out. I worry about them and it makes me really sad to think of people not getting a Christmas meal. Everyone should have access to a Christmas meal😢
Now that my drawing tablet is not working, I am not sure when I will be able to add new drawings to my website. Hopefully sometime next year I will be able to continue.
So I know I am a little early, but I just want to say have a fantastic weekend people. I also want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, I know we are not even in December yet but I’m happy thinking I may be the first to say it you. Enjoy the festive time.

Update.
Hello, have a nice week and weekend people.
I was hoping to add 2 new drawings to my website this week, but unfortunately it has not been possible.
I am still trying to resolve this and I hope I can still manage to do so, my drawing tablet as mentioned previously is really playing up and turning itself on and off vigorously.
Then the second hurdle kicked in yesterday, the software I usually use has come into problems also. All the tools that are usually displayed just vanished for no reason, which makes it even harder to complete a drawing.
So after looking through many forums and youtube videos, I still have no answers.
I noticed there was an update, so I tried updating thinking this would resolve the tool issue, it did not. The software then asked me to pay for either a subscription or to pay a one off payment, but I already paid the one off payment. 😕🤷🏻♂️
So after contacting the software company I am still waiting on answers, I applied for a 30 day free trial use so I could finish my pictures at least. But there’s still issues with the software and it’s much harder to do what I need it to do (no tools)
I may sound like I’m rambling but I’m just giving an update on where I am as of today. Currently my tablets frustrating and the software is, I hope the company can resolve my issues.
If I am asked to pay again it is highly unlikely I will as it makes no sense to if I can’t use the drawing tablet or software.
I will try my best to complete the drawings, but they may be my last drawings for sometime. Till such time the software company addresses the issues and I can afford a new drawing tablet. For this I apologise, but it is what it is and it can’t be helped.
In the meantime as I cannot finish my pictures from now on, I am going to focus on writing for a few months. Hopefully I can afford a new tablet next year at some point, I may also have to set up with new software 💰💵 😢
I will remain positive and hope for the best, I love drawing and I will get back to it as soon as I can. It’s just not viable right now.

Have a fantastic Sunday people.
I hope everybody is having a fantastic Sunday morning, I am feeling very good and full of energy as I had the best sleep.
Today I am going to concentrate on doing another version of my last picture, MK.
Next week I am going to draw and do something completely different for me. I am excited and looking forward to creating it.
I want to try something new before my drawing tablet fails, currently it turns on and off a lot which makes it more of a challenge and the tablet has many scratches on it now which also makes it difficult to draw on and colour.
So hopefully with a bit of patience, I will be able to get two drawings on next week and one being something completely new, fingers crossed.
