S.R. Fauth's Blog: The Life of A Ratty Typist

Ah The Smell of Victory

Well, I hope you are all having a great morning. Mine has been eventful so far. Between getting a few chapters done, editing, and finally getting a peek at the first cover draft for the next novel eventful is definitely the right word.

However, as I was writing this morning a thought occured to me. The Pet Shop of Horrors. It's all about plants eating people. And if this is a spoiler to you then man, you twenty years too late and I don't feel guilty.

Anyway, I digress. This old movie got me thinking about different places and businesses that could mirror that horror concept but with their own twists. Like Little McDonalds of horror, where the cheeseburgers eat you.

Right. I may have gone down the rabbit hole with that one. Just don't tell anybody.

So this is a thing?

I never knew that Good Reads had a blog function. This is pretty darn neat. I think I may just use this as a happy medium to talk with everyone.

Well, to put some meat on this skinny blog post, I am roughly 40% done with Mercenary Monarch. I am having an unusual amount of fun writing this last installment, so I hope you all have just as much fun reading it 😆. Well, that's the hope anyway haha!

My plan is to keep this pretty informal, and I don't mind answering questions or discussing concepts. Just give me a holler or shoot me a message.

As this is so new I don't know the exact rules or anything, but I will find out about what I can post here. Once I get a better idea you can expect more content, possible links, or other fun shenanigans.

Stay safe and enjoy the sun everyone.
