Sneak Peek Excerpt - eek!!!

Halifax Magazine, in their dubious wisdom, has decided that I must be the subject of their cover story for their READING IN SUMMER July/August issue.

I'm stoked.

I've already taken part in an arduous three hour photo shoot involving rubber ducks, ice cream, beach balls, water guns and popsicles.

There will be a special "Making of the photo shoot" feature in the Halifax Magazine blog a little later in July.

I will keep you all posted on this.

For now you'll have to make do with the chapter one sneak-peek sample.

Check it out!

Where I've been...

There's a new blog in town.

I've been blogging at wordpress.

I will attempt to be more diligent at reposting over here - (ha, classic male resolution - "I will attempt...") - but for those of you deep diehard addicts you can always find me over there.

FIGHTING WORDS

Max was just a thirteen year old nobody – until the fight.

He didn’t plan the fight. He didn’t even want the fight to happen – but after he stood up to Rodney freaking Hammerhead to protect his sort-of-best-friend Tommy – Max decided that fighting could be a good thing.

People looked up to fighters.

Girls liked fighters.

Now Tommy and Max have decided to create their own personal fight club.

It seemed like a good idea – but what can I tell you?

Sometimes stupid just gets in your eyes.
