My Scary-Good Day - Update after Surgery

Okay, I was going to have Hubcap do this, but I couldn't resist. :) A couple of hours ago - I could have, but the nausea has finally subsided. :) I hate narcotic pain meds. Just saying...

Let's see, we started the day rather nicely waking early enough to take my last long soak in a bathtub for a full month (I'm such a bath baby - this is huge to me lol). Went to wake the son up and managed to trip my walker, sending it crashing onto the top of my foot. Um...a bruise immediately started to form...

Happy News for my Back :)

I went to see the neurosurgeon yesterday morning regarding the MRI done on my back. As some may remember, I have a herniated disc that's been plaguing me with pretty awful pain going on three years now, but the last year has been the hardest with not a single pain free day. (Okay, maybe there was one - but I can't remember it. [g:])

He recommended surgery and while it is not 100% guaranteed to be a longterm solution, it is the *best* solution for the "major" rupture they discovered in the MR...

Talking to the Air

Have you ever been chatting along with someone and turned to find out their opinion and realized they weren't anywhere to be seen? They'd taken off for parts unknown while you blithely went along talking to yourself.
