On Food and More Food and even MORE Food

A couple of weekends back, @cuppacafe and I watched the Big Game together. #2 was home with her boyfriend, Casey and family at a friend's. No. 1 Daughter was at her boyfriend's for the weekend – her boyfriend who's from Baton Rouge, whose band plays shows in New Orleans every month, and who has tried to get her more than once to move with him to the Big Easy. You can imagine how rowdy his place was.

New Addition to My Writing Quotes

On my left sidebar I've got a bunch of writing quotes that really resonate with me, but the sidebar was growing so unwieldy that when I found a new one to add yesterday, I started a second quotes section on right sidebar. Grabbing for story ideas in the ether

Sometime in 2004, @cuppacafe and I brainstormed a paranormal series concept. I'm pretty sure of the timing because I was laid off from my oil company job in January of that year, so I did a lot of writing at the park.
