“Many of our ancestors who lived around the time that Jesus was preaching sought him out. His message of love and faith resonated with some of the old ways. Their gods were not the same, of course. But as you know, Jesus was also a healer. He used His Divine power of love and that of His Father to create the miracles, especially those involved in curing the sick. And the raising of the dead. Some of the folks saw these simply as miracles, but for those in our family, they saw it as confirmation of some of the gifts they had been given as healers.”
