near the conclusion

Max Stevens 3 is finished but needs a round of editing and some serious proofreading. Glad I have finished the story and can now start to look in the direction of some new material for my next story or just finish one of the three other books I am currently writing,

Writing.

Well, I know things can become an obsession, but when it involves writing a novel I tend to get lost in my own little world, and it becomes an all-consuming passion. Still, I can think of worse things to obsess with than writing. And if only one person likes my work, it's a job well done.

Nearing the end of Max Stevens III

Nearing the end of my third Max Stevens novel. I hope it will tie up the loose ends to the first 2 books. We can live in hope.

An insight to Fiction

My best read books are two which I must admit are not my usual choice of reading material: Science fiction.
I have only ever read one science fiction book, it was called Doom of the Gods:Ragnarok by James McHale, a friend recommended it. It was a brilliant read.
The idea for the two Sci-Fi books came when I was away in Cardiff. The lift in the hotel I was staying in sailed past the eighth floor. It didn't want me to get out there for some reason. I had to walk back up to the eighth floor after stopping it at the seventh on the way back past eight. I thought to myself, that's a good idea for a book. A man walks back up a floor and ends up two hundred years in the future. The story evolved from there.
It was a big leap from my normal books which are supposedly comedy's. Still, some of life's more unusual ideas come from the most unlikely places or events.
