Into the Fire

The Triad Bite series is finished!
And that includes the interconnected standalone project about the series' notorious villain!

Gabriel is a love or hate character, sometimes both.

Into the Fire follows Gabriel's life from the late 1300s until his death.
Although this tale doesn't have a happy ending, much insight can be found.

Glimpses of who he is can be discovered from Into the Red (Triad Bite, Book 2) along with his heartwrenching demise. You get a glimpse of his background, his need for revenge, and how one woman fulfills his destiny and last wishes in his immortal life.
Gabriel has many enemies, more so than friendships, but the lovers he encounters along the way are worth more than gold.
His soul is stained and he harbored many secrets, yet is he redeemable?

Follow along with his heartbreaking tale and find out!

Can be read as a standalone

Available on KU, paperback, and Kindle.

Another Completed Series!

Happy Release Day for Into the Blue, book 3 of the Triad Bite Series!
book link here

I totally just realized I never did a follow-up post from Book 2's release!
(it's been a time, I tell ya!)

I can't believe another series is finished!

What a journey this series is, between the trauma, spice, and shenanigans, I hope I delivered to give these characters their HEA they so deserve!

There is so much growth to be had with all the characters in Into the Blue, between Karina, her jade-eyed twins, Margo and Patrick, and the dark twins!

(Fun fact: Today is Gabriel's Birthday, a nice little opening into the next statement!)

It should come as no surprise, but there is a standalone coming at the end of November!
Into the Fire.

This is Gabriel's book. From beginning to end.
There is not a HEA, but it is one of my favorite things I have written.
The character with an end, but his impact is lasting.

The cover reveal for Into the Fire will be on Friday, October 13th!

Add it to your TBR today!

Thank you to all who have stuck around to support a little indie author like me!
Of course, I always wish the best for readers and writers alike who do not like my books.

I love doing this, and like so many others, it is my therapy, my catharsis.

See you in November!

With love,

RNA

Luck of the Irish!

Greetings!

It's that time again, Release Day!

Into the Red, Triad Bite Book 2

The book itself is a journey, as it was to write. It's all about the rabbit hole.
I'm excited to share it with you, the reader, and I hope you stick around for book 3!

Book 3 is the healing from book 2. There is a happy ending in the next book, and it's gradual.
Into the Red will leave you with questions and a seemingly dead end.

How can Karina be happy after everything?

Grieving and having those long-awaited conversations. To name a few.

👱‍♂️Gabriel was created as a "redeemable villain" character. You hate him, then you love him, until you hate him again.
👨Adrian is a precious Irishman, who provides healing comfort and love when it was needed.
However, some things aren't meant to be.

The jaded-eyed twins are put through hell, waiting and wondering about their mate. Karina's secrets and lies eventually catch up with her.

She's broken, you're broken, and so am I.
As writers, we put pieces of ourselves in characters and scenes, drawing from inspiration or the emotions that led to them.

I know this book won't be for everyone, or my writing style, but that is completely okay. A great thing about this #indieauthor community is how we can support each other without tearing each other down, whether you're a genre specific reader or you just have certain likes and dislikes-it's okay, it's normal.

Either way, I hope whoever picks up Into the Red, will journey with me through the end.
There is also a side-project after book 3.

Gabriel will tell his story.
From beginning to end. His 600-year journey, how he went from a sweet boy his mother loved, to who he is Into the Red. His desperation to find peace. Redemption. Est. Late Fall 2023.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, have a drink at a pub today to celebrate whatever it is you celebrate, whether you are Irish or not.

I'll be back with another post next month to celebrate my #authoranniversary and the period of reflection in the past year.

As always, here's a book playlist for those who enjoy them, and there's character ones too.

Cheers! 🍻

Happy New Year!

Wow!
What a year!

Between my personal life being an absolute trainwreck, working, school, and doing the writing bit on the side, it's been a wild ride!

I'm extremely grateful for the growth 2022 offered, both good and bad. I could do without the deaths though...

3 published books, I never even thought I'd be here! I'm also not complaining! I've learned so much during the past year, and I still have much more to learn and grow from.

The good news is, I have more stories to share with you.

So, cheers, to this new year and I hope it's prosperous for all.
Until next time.

Wicked December Dreams

Happy Release Day!

I may have begun editing book 2 already...

This series is chaotic, not going to lie.
I love these characters and their stories. Book 1 is a fun journey, and book 2 is...rabbit hole.
Book 3 ties it into a HEA, not before all the trauma and healing.

ANYWAY! *cough cough*

I hope you all like it as much as I do, and I can't wait to share the rest of it with you next year!

Cheers, and happy reading!

As always there are some book playlists.
Karina and Donnie have their BFF playlist that's totally 90s and musical vibes.

November 4, 2022

How is it November?

Greetings!

The stress of life aside,

#ParaPsych is available for free this weekend (4th-6th)!

While the past six months have been a wild, stressful ride, a new series is underway (or maybe a couple...).

The Para-Series came to me at an odd time in my life, and while it's not something I would think to write myself, surprise!

Here are some things I've learned so far!

Money does NOT grow on trees.
There is so much money that goes into your passions and dreams, and while I'm not complaining about doing it (minus the lack of it to do more fun projects). It's stressful when life hits and you still have deadlines to meet and to pay people for what they deserve for their hard work.
Also, I can't deny the slight sadness when no pages were read on KU or sales for a month or so spread out sporadically. Unless you are lucky or already established somehow, it's hard to get those sales, and marketing yourself tailored to who you are, is half of it. Keep in mind though, it's still the first year, and it takes all you have within you to keep going even when there's doubts or lack of funds.

Networking with EVERYONE, seriously.
The beauty of being a self-publishing author is to do mostly what you want. You don't have to take out scenes if you don't want to and you certainly don't have to answer to others for what you want to write. It's yours to be uniquely yours, and realizing that while YOU aren't for everyone, it is the hope that at least someone out there in the world was able to escape into a story and enjoy it for a while. Whether the writing is perfect or not, that's the beauty of connecting with others.
I love chatting with both readers and authors alike because as authors we're in this together, and IM A READER TOO. Also, there is so much joy in gossiping with readers about things you created as if you are two lost friends discovering a book for the first time. I LOVE IT!
I also love making weird-relatable character videos on the Clock App. Aesthetics too, are also fun. Networking and making friends is joyful, and I appreciate those who politely say my writing/book isn't for them and can still appreciate (befriend) the author who is still learning and growing behind the words.

Words are hard.
Editing and crafting take so much time and energy that sometimes this can slip into imposter syndrome a tad bit, especially when repeated words are a tad bit too much. Just a tad, you think?
All jokes aside, the key to combating it is being gracious to yourself and having important positive self-talk that will incorporate improvement in the future.
For me: Okay, the first book was long and could have been made short or this scene could have been written better, or what have you will.
Great! Let's involve that in the next one! EASY! (I type it, but I mentally know the truth of this struggle and it's a huge task on its own.)

Your voice, your words, your mind.
Yes, trends are great and make sales, but I think it's important to be authentic to who you are and who you want to be. You want to write a Dark Romance? DO IT, but not because it's trendy, or a certain author did really well. Do it because you have a story you want to tell and ideas to add or change and create to shape them into your dark romance fantasy.

*Eyebrow wiggle*

There are so many things to add but those are the important ones that stick out as of this moment that resonate with me into continuing.

I can't wait to show you the realistic, but the chaotic world of the Triad Bite Series.
Kink, Vampires, Oh-No-Take-Down-That-Baddie, OH MY!

December 4th, 2022. ♥

Until release day!

Para-Psych Release Day!

Whew!

Another one done,
and a completed series!

It's been a wild 5-6 months with a lot of sleepless nights, and ideas for upcoming books! And maybe a curse word, or two...

I LOVE what I do! I love the writing part the most and interacting with all of you!

Formatting...not so much.

I want to shout out to everyone who gave #theparaseries a chance (whether you liked it or not), I'm grateful for you!

I realize that there are emotional elements to these books, but oh, what a journey (yes, even for me).
I love these characters, each for different reasons. And the happy ending they all deserve.

So again, thank you, THANK YOU!

Here's a link if you want to check out the media accounts AND BOOK PLAYLISTS. (I'm obsessed!)

Cheers!

As always,
happy reading!

What's That Song Called About Waking Up After September?

*knowing smirk*

September 1, a month away until Para-Psych releases. Ah!!!

It's okay, everyone stay calm!
(It's just you RNA, breathe...)
Book 2 to Parasite (The Para-Series) and the last book to conclude everything.

Let's be honest here, Parasite is a thiccc book! Dramatic and emotional too, but once you get to the end, one should wonder...

"Well, thanks for that roller coaster ride... but what about Jenna? What about Kazear?"

Of course, I had to give our spooky babe her spotlight, because she deserves it too.

I'm so excited to share Jenna and Kaz's story with you!

It wasn't my intention to go sci-fi romance with the first series, but that's what popped out of my brain first... oopsie.

And I know it's a long-winded journey, and it's not for everyone - which is totally okay!

I appreciate any and all who take the time to pick Parasite up with both hands, and then Para-Psych with one (since book 2 isn't as huge-you're welcome! ;) )

Anyway, cheers to trusty red for getting us through!

See you on release day!
