Out In The Wild....

I've had reports that SKIN DEEP has been seen on bookstore shelves.  Tuesday is official release day, but sometimes stores put their stock out early if they have them.

And, this just in, Library Journal has a nice short review of SKIN DEEP.

SKIN DEEP in Two Weeks!!

SKIN DEEP will be hitting the shelves in two weeks (July 28)! If past is prologue, you might see it sneaking out earlier here and there.

There They Go

Finished up about ten days of guests--three sets one after another. We've had some depressing weather here on the cape, but by some confluence of the storm gods, the clouds parted and every single guest managed to have glorious sunny days. Today was iffy, but the last guest drove off into the sun after a night time storm.

Train Wreck I Will Miss

Lots of news to catch up on in the non-book world...

Michael Jackson. Sad end to a sad life. You couldn't grow up in the 70s and 80s and not be a fan of him. His music is so tied into my growing up that it does feel a lot like my youth is, well, really in the past now.

And Farrah. Another icon of my youth. She was more amusing to me than tragic, except of course at the end. I give her credit for raising the cancer issues she did. Her early fame makes me think how much things have changed.  Charlie

It's a Website!

I've upgraded/updated the main website. I think it's kinda fun. It should work fine in both IE and Firefox.  Let me know what you think and please let me know if there are any link glitches or styling rendering problems.

Happy Solstice to one and all!

I've turned in Connor 4, now entitled UNPERFECT SOULS, and anxiously await my editor's thoughts. I think I did some cool things in it.

Laura Blackstone 2 is in the works and about to take off.  SKIN DEEP, Laura's first story, will be in bookstores soon--the publication date is July 28.

In the final throes of revision. It's not going as quickly as I'd like, but it's getting there.  I'll post more toward the end of the week.

When I'm on the cape, I get around by bike. I haven't ridden my bike in over six months. One word: ow.
