Five Fall Favorites – Recommended Reads

Hello, everyone, and welcome to my first post for the Five Fall Favorites event, hosted by Kate Willis. This is an absolutely massive event, so you don’t want to miss all of the goings-on.

Today’s category is five books I recommend. Now, asking me to pick just five is like asking me to choose which fingers I like best. But, I did my best, so below are five books I recommend, in no particular order. Which of these have you read? Which are on your TBR list?

Now Open – ACoH Audiobook ARC Signups

What do you call the audiobook equivalent of an ARC (advanced reader’s copy)? “Advanced Listener’s Copy”? Who knows. I have no idea.

Anyway, that burning question aside, I have some exciting news.

I’ve been working on getting A Change of Heart into audiobook format for a few months now, and it is time to finally announce that the audiobook arc form is open!

ACoH is a Christian fantasy story with Cinderella vibes, autumnal feels, and banter, snark, bromance, a cat, and forced pr...

And I’m Wondering Why – A Letter

“And I’m wondering why“, begins the chorus of a song I’ve found myself listening to over and over. It is a question I have asked countless times over, a question I found myself asking numerous times today and the past few months, in the wake of a sequence of devastating news that has left America numb.

Why?

I wonder why children are targeted and slaughtered as they sit in school and pray in Mass. I wonder why loved ones have to die. I wonder why a woman is left to die a slow and agonizing ...

AI: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

There has been a lot of scuttlebutt swarming the writing community regarding AI. Opinions have been stated, lines drawn, accusations thrown. But, what I have observed, is that many do not really know what AI is. They hear the phrase and either applaud or condemn it. This article has been on my mind for a while now. I’m tired of seeing bad promoted and innocent authors being destroyed by heartless accusations, so here is a simple outline of AI: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. This primarily disc...

Waking Courage – ARC Signups, Title Reveal, and a Competition

A while ago, I posted that I was participating in the fantasy fairy tale retelling, Waking Courage. Now, the time has come to reveal not only my novella’s title, but the characters and fairy tale.

The Title

Coming up with the title was a bit of a doozy. Usually, I can’t write a book unless I have the cover and title. But, after much plotting, scheming, and perusing my outline, I came up with…

A Stitch of Love.

Isn’t it cute? And it’s perfect for the characters and their friends-t...
