I started programming in the '90s, when computers were more expensive than cars and there was no Internet. Those were the times of MS-DOS, Turbo Pascal, floppy disks. In the early 2000s it was really difficult to find good technical material on programming in Spanish. There were no online translation services either. So, I started translating some articles, tutorials, books, mainly in English and Russian. That's probably the main reason why I was hired as a professor at the Faculty of Systems Engineering. I also worked for BellSouth, developing CDMA software before the smartphone era.

Currently I develop telecommunications solutions for an aerospace company, edit the CelerSMS Journal and volunteer at the Educamas Foundation.

The VB6 example has this file. The uncompressed file size is 905 bytes in "stripped XM" file format. You can convert it to standard XM file format using the xmstrip tool, which is included into the same delivery. Just load the file, select "stick to standard", and then click "Go!" to overwrite the file. The file size in standard XM file format is 1162 bytes.

This is the smallest composition in XM format I have ever seen. Maybe the smallest XM file can be an empty song, without any patterns. However, the smallest full-fledged composition in XM format is this «mini.xm».(less)

The last part of the name stands for the Nukak-Maku, an indigenous tribe in Colombia. There are some papers describing the use of this protocol in several hospitals in Colombia. I don’t know if there is anything available in electronic format though. This protocol was created in 2004 when technical specs were still written on paper. I believe that the intellectual property belongs to the National University of Colombia.(less)
