It requ…moreI believe the word "inspiration" is a bit of a misnomer - a veil that hides the true source of creation. Writing is hard work, and lots of it. It requires time, commitment, patience, and a willingness to expose the real you. Every morning, I awake at 4:30am and get to work. I love the pre-dawn hours when the dark silence rules and the distractions are few. For me, writing requires an undisrupted connection with a conscious stream of ideas that swells the more it is allowed to remain undisturbed. I need a patterned approach, a consistent re-entry into the flow, a well-worn groove that I can rejoin without losing the connection. I don't wait for the moment to come. I need to make it happen.
