Nerdy Joke

Here is a nerdy joke I made up:
There was a couple. One spouse was a genius mathematician and the other spouse was a genius linguist. As the maxim goes, "Great minds think alike." They both thought of proposing to each other in front of a zoo at the "Octopus Sector." Why?
Friends of the linguist (who were also linguists) were discussing suffixes for plural words. The term octopus has many accepted plural forms, such as "octopodes" and "octopuses."

"It should be octopi!" the linguist insisted to the friends.

"Hapalochlaena does have circular rings!" the mathematician remarked.

I wish I did this earlier, while it was still pi day, but better late than never! XD

Creative Writing on Goodreads

Ukraine and Russia

Hi, guys! I know it may seem strange to talk about this, but I think this topic is highly important. As some of you might know, there is a war between Ukraine and Russia. Russia wants to invade Ukraine. I want to dedicate a part of my blog to discussing this war. Please answer at least one of the following prompts:
Prompt 1: What should we, as authors/readers, do about this? How might authorship and reading help us with our calls to action?
Prompt 2: Is Russia, Ukraine, both countries, or anyone else at fault for this war? Why?
