That trend continues. There are more books, more articles, and more controversies. D

"This is one of the best books I've read in the last few years. To be honest, I think when I saw the title, I thought it would be a personality book, which almost made me roll my eyes, but it was not. The author calls out the instincts and tendencies " Read more of this review »

Chase Replogle added a status update: The 5 Masculine Instincts is now available for pre-order and releases March 1. I hope the book is a path forward through what has become an increasingly controversial topic: masculinity. Would you consider pre-ordering a copy and sharing?

“A meek person can still feel that burning desire for reaction, but they have discovered their real strength lies in the discipline of being led by God, not their emotions. To put it another way, a fighter’s strength is not only in his punch but also in his ability to take one. The ability to absorb the blow is also a mark of strength.”
Chase Replogle, The 5 Masculine Instincts: A Guide to Becoming a Better Man

“The man who cannot be led, who submits to nothing but himself, is far weaker than the man who submits to God, and he that cannot question his own instincts is weakest of all.”
Chase Replogle, The 5 Masculine Instincts: A Guide to Becoming a Better Man

“The first time he shared his secret with Delilah, Samson might have rationalized the attack as a coincidence, but, after three times, it’s hard to see Delilah’s actions as anything other than betrayal. Samson had to have realized she was in on the setup. But remarkably, he kept playing her game. Why continue to love and toy with a woman determined to kill you? Here is where your honesty is most needed. Is Samson’s dangerous game of love, sex, and betrayal all that different than your own infatuations and temptations for romance and adventure? Do you not see how your own commitments are sacrificed for the sake of one more thrill, one more night of indulgence, one more taste of adventure?”
