The Trilogy has been re-released!
I am the worst blogger ever.
It's been quite some time since I've added an entry so I thought it was time to update everyone on the latest news in the world of Mech.
I have re-released the trilogy with new covers that my son helped create. The updates are more than just cosmetic though, as I've made big changes on the inside too. After finishing up the third book, I went back and re-read the first two, quickly realizing I had a few bad writing habits when I started out. I spent the last year tuning and tightening, trying to create a series I could be truly proud of.
So... here are the new covers:

It's Done!!!
The Mech Trilogy is complete!
This one took a while, but the saga has finally reached its conclusion.

Back-to-Back
I have been very bad at keeping my blog current - apologies for that. (I will endeavor to do better in the future)
This news is a bit old, but Mech - Worlds Away, the second book in the Mech Trilogy won Runner-Up in the 2022 Indies Today book awards in the Juvenile Fiction category.
This makes it back-to-back as the first book in the trilogy did the same for 2021.

More good news!
I can now call myself an "almost award-winning author"!!!! Mech - Heart & Soul was named runner-up in the 2021 Indies Today book awards in the Juvenile Fiction category.

First entry - good news!
Hello all,
I thought I would share some good news I received today about Mech - Heart & Soul.
Last month, I entered the book in the Indies Today Awards and I received my first feedback from the process today. It was a 5-star review that called it:
"one of the best novels of the year for young adult readers."
it also says:
"Mech: Heart & Soul by Ken Deeprose is the perfect sci-fi adventure story for anybody with an imagination. With an engaging plot, plenty of age-appropriate action and a cast of well-crafted characters, this futuristic novel appeals to middle-grade readers and adults alike."
