Remembering 7 Spiritual Gurus From India On Guru Purnima 2021
Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born on 15th April 1469 in Talwandi, Lahore (undivided India, now in Pakistan). He is one of the prominent saints in Indian history who spread the words of peace, love, and unity among his followers. He was the first preacher of Sikhism and is the First Guru. The followers of Guru Nanak are called Sikhs. The first full moon of Kartika month every year is celebrated as Guru Parba. In his birthplace, a big fair is organized to celebrate his birth anniversary.
2. SRILA PRABHUPADAA. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was born in 1896 in Calcutta, India. He first met his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami, in Calcutta in 1922. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, a prominent devotional scholar and the founder of sixty-four branches of Gaudiya Mathas (Vedic institutes), liked this educated young man and convinced him to dedicate his life to teaching Vedic knowledge in the Western world. Srila Prabhupada became his student, and eleven years later (1933) at Allahabad, he became his formally initiated disciple.
3. PRAMUKH SWAMI MAHARAJPramukh Swami Maharaj (born Shantilal Patel; ordained Narayanswarupdas Swami; 7 December 1921 – 13 August 2016) was the guru and Pramukh, or president, of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), a major branch of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, a Hindu denomination. BAPS regards him as the fifth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan, following Gunatitanand Swami, Bhagatji Maharaj, Shastriji Maharaj, and Yogiji Maharaj. He was believed by his followers to be in constant communion with Swaminarayan, and ontologically, the manifestation of Akshar, the eternal abode of Swaminarayan.
4. PANDURANG SHASTRIPandurang Shastri Athavale was born on 19th October 1920, in the Roha village near Mumbai city. By the age of 22 years, Pandurang Shastri Athavale started giving discourses at the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Pathshala, a school that was set up by his father. In the year 1954, he attended the Second World Religions Conference, which was held in Japan. At the conference, he delivered a speech on the concepts of Vedic ideals as well as the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. The Swadhyayees who spread the ideas of Athavale throughout the country are known as “Krutisheels’ or the people of action. Pandurang Shastri Athavale also founded an institute, known as Tatvagyan Vidhyapeeth, where young people study and learn his views and ideas. Pandurang left for the holy abode on 25th October 2003, in Mumbai.
5. SRI SRI RAVISHANKARBorn in 1956 in Southern India, Sri Sri was a gifted child. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a globally revered spiritual and humanitarian leader. He has spearheaded an unprecedented worldwide movement for a stress-free, violence-free society. Through a myriad of programs and teachings, a network of organizations including the Art of Living and the International Association for Human Values, and a rapidly growing presence across 156 countries, Sri Sri has reached an estimated 450 million people. Sri Sri has developed unique, impactful programs that empower, equip and transform individuals to tackle challenges at global, national, community and individual levels.
6. SADHGURUJaggi Vasudev known as Sadhguru is an Indian yogi who teaches yoga, meditation and frequently answers questions related to spirituality. He is known for his keen wit, humour and ability to combine ancient Indian yoga with modern life. He founded the Isha Yoga Centre and has promoted several environmental issues. He has travelled around the world, speaking at venues from Davos to the United Nations. He promotes a spirituality which emphasises personal transformation, clean living and social awareness. He has been associated with aspects of Hindu nationalism.
7. MAHANT SWAMI MAHARAJMahant Swami Maharaj was born to Dahiben and Manibhai Narayanbhai Patel on 13 September 1933 (Bhadarva vad 9, Samvat 1989) in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. On 20 July 2012, in the presence of senior sadhus in Ahmedabad, Pramukh Swami Maharaj revealed Mahant Swami as his spiritual successor. Following the earthly departure of Pramukh Swami Maharaj on 13 August 2016, Mahant Swami became the sixth guru in the Gunatit Parampara tradition of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. Mahant Swami Maharaj now presides as the guru and spiritual guide of countless devotees and helms the worldwide socio-spiritual activities of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.

૪ વર્ષ નો ક્લબફૂટ વોરીયર બાળક વૈશ્વિક ક્લબફૂટ અવેરનેસ પર્વ માં ભારત નું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરશે
૩ જી જૂન વર્લ્ડ ક્લબફૂટ ડે તરીકે વિશ્વબભર માં ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. આ વિશેષ દિવસે, ગિવ વાચા ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા વૈશ્વિક ક્લબફૂટ અવેરનેસ પર્વ ની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી.
ક્લબફૂટ એ નવજાત શિશુ માં થતી પગ ની ખામી છે. આવું બાળક જન્મે ત્યારે તેના પગ અંદર ની તરફ વળેલા હોય છે. જો સમયસર આવા બાળક ની સારવાર ના કરવામાં આવે તો ખોડખાંપણ કાયમી થઈ જાય છે અને બાળક આખી જીન્દગી સરખી રીતે ચાલી નથી શકતું. પરંતુ જો યોગ્ય અને સમયસર સારવાર મળે તો બાળક સંપૂર્ણપણે ઠીક થઈ શકે છે. ભારત માં દર ૧૦૦૦ બાળકો એ ૩ થી ૪ બાળકો આ ખામી સાથે જન્મે છે. ત્યારે સમાજ માં આ રોગ વિષે ની સમજણ ના અભાવે મોત ભાગ ના માતા પિતા સારવાર મોડી શરૂ કરે છે જેથી બાળક ને સંપૂર્ણ ઠીક થવા માં વધુ સામે લાગે છે અથવા તો થોડી ખોટ સાથે જીવન જીવવું પડે છે.
આવી સ્થિતિ માં ગિવ વાચા ફાઉન્ડેશન “વૈશ્વિક ક્લબફૂટ અવેરનેસ પર્વ” પ્રોજેક્ટ દ્વારા આવી તકલીફ સાથે જન્મેલા બાળકો ને સચોટ અને સમયસર માર્ગદર્શન પૂરું પાડશે તેમજ તેની સારવાર માટે ના વિકલ્પો ની માહિતી આપશે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ માં ભારત તેમજ વિશ્વ ના બીજા દેશો ના ઘણા સેવાભાવી તબીબો પણ પોતાનું યોગદાન આપવા આગળ આવી રહ્યા છે. ત્યારે આ પ્રોજેક્ટ ના ભારત ના પ્રતિનિધિ તરીકે કચ્છ ના ૪ વર્ષ ના બાળક પર્વ ઠક્કર ની નિમણૂક કરવામાં આવી છે. અંજાર માં રહેતો પર્વ ઠક્કર ક્લબ ફૂટ ની તકલીફ સાથે જન્મેલો. તેની સમયસર નિદાન અને સારવાર થવા થી સંપૂર્ણ ઠીક તો થયો જ પણ સાથે તેના માતા પિતા દ્વારા ગાયન અને એક્ટિંગ માં તેની રુચિ ને પ્રોત્સાહન મળતા તે ૪ વર્ષ ની નાની ઉમરે ગિવ વાચા ફાઉન્ડેશન સંસ્થા ના વિવિધ પ્રોજેક્ટ માટે ના ૧૫ જેટલા ગીતો માં પોતાની કળા નું દાન આપ્યું છે. તેની કળા ને બિરદાવતા હુંગામા મયુસીક એ તેને “રાઈસિંગ સ્ટાર ઓફ ઈન્ડિયા” નું બિરુદ આપી તેના ૧૫ ગીતો નો ખાસ આલ્બમ આ પ્રસંગે વિશ્વ કક્ષા એ રજૂ કર્યો.
ત્યારે પર્વ કૃપેશ ઠક્કર ની ક્લબફૂટ વોરીયર તરીકે ની સંઘર્ષ થી યંગેસ્ટ સિંગર ઓફ એશિયા અને યંગેસ્ટ એક્ટર ઓફ ઈન્ડિયા સુધી ની સફળતા ની આ યાત્રા વધુ માં વધુ ક્લબફૂટ બાળકો ના માતા પિતા સુધી પહોંચે અને તે ક્લબ ફૂટ ની ગંભીરતા સમજી સમયસર તેમના બાળકો ને સારવાર અપાવે એવી આશા સાથે આ વૈશ્વિક ક્લબફૂટ અવેરનેસ પર્વ ની શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી છે એમ સંસ્થા ના ટ્રસ્ટી ડૉ. શશિકાંત ઠક્કર એ જણાવ્યું. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ માં ક્લબફૂટ ની સારવાર ના નિષ્ણાંત અમદાવાદ ના ડૉ. કમલેશ દેવમુરારી, ગિવ વાચા ફાઉન્ડેશન ના કમ્યૂનિટી હેલ્થ ડાઇરેક્ટર ડૉ. પૂજા ઠક્કર અને ડૉ. કૃપેશ ઠક્કર તેમજ શ્રીમતી નયનાબેન ઠક્કર અને ડૉ. પ્રકૃતિ દેવમુરારી પોતાની સેવા આપશે. આ સાથે જ ગુજરાત ની જણાતી મયુસીક કંપની કૃપ મયુસીક તેમજ ઈઝી આઈ ડી કંપની એ દર વર્ષે ૫ બાળકો ના સારવાર નો ખર્ચ લેવા ની તૈયારી દર્શાવી છે.
