Eucharistic Miracles Website

screen-captureInteresting site with articles on the Eucharist and the Real Presence, a catalog of Eucharistic miracles and more. It is a wealth of information — especially as we approach Corpus Christi Sunday.

I knew nothing of this as a Protestant and find it absolutely intriguing now. I am so glad to be a Catholic and to understand the Eucharist and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!

Referring to Eucharistic Miracles, Janet and I have been to Orvieto and Lanciano in Italy. Incredible!

Planned Parenthood Exposed!

*** BREAKING NEWS ***

An undercover sting operation has caught abortion giant Planned Parenthood red-handed in the act of aiding and abetting human trafficking and forced prostitution of women and girls as young as 14.

Shocking undercover video footage reveals a Planned Parenthood clinic manager assuring a pimp that the clinic would secretly offer full access to abortions and other services — despite knowing full well that the girls were underage victims of sex trafficking.

Once Gay Always Gay?

This idea of 'once gay, always gay' is a political position, not a scientific position" – http://zenit.org/article-26183?l=english

What Comes to Mind When You Look at this Picture?

IMG_5020I think I know what came to your mind, but it is NOT what you thought!

This was taken when I was running along Juhu Beach in Mumbai India. This is a common scene in India and much of the world. It is two men walking with arms around each other's shoulder. You often see men holding hands — the same with women, both young and old.

Are these two men homosexuals? That is what first comes to the American mind. That is because our country and the Western World is messed up.

These men are not homosexual and that idea would stun or disgust them. These men are friends and it is common among male friends to show affection. For women it is the same.

This culture here in India — and the Arab world and many other countries — is MUCH more healthy than that of America and the skewed Western World. In the West men are afraid to be friends with other men. We are afraid to show affection, to touch or get too close lest we be considered gay. How sick is that?

gayBefore the homosexual agenda forced its perversion into our lives, men were not afraid to be friends or show affection with other men (or women with women). This immoral behavior and movement has hurt relationships, friendships and the way we think of each other.

Frankly I despise the homosexual agenda, not only because of the perversion and aberration it is, but because it is forced on us and has tainted and ruined many good things in our culture. It has pervaded our country like a cancer.

One thing destroyed was a good word — GAY — which used to mean "happy and carefree" but now means a perverted and ungodly lifestyle being pushed down our throats.

Check out these passages of Scripture. Just hover your cursor over the references — Lev. 18:22; 20:13; Rom. 1:26–27; 1 Cor. 6:9; 1 Tim. 1:10).

Rick Tells the Story of his Conversion from Episcopalean to Catholic

Rick has a delightful and moving story. You can read how his mother came from France with an abandoned Catholicism and he was raised with no religious upbrining.  He was later influenced by an Episcopalean relative. He tells how he eventually converted to the Catholic faith.

He begins, "Sometimes it has been difficult for me to articulate what my Catholic journey means to me.  It is an enormous gift with immeasurable rewards. It is not destined to wind-up in the basement or attic, unused and later discarded after neglect.  My name is Rick, I am 52 years old, and I want to share my story of crossing the Tiber and coming into Communion with the Catholic Church."

Glimpse into our Time & Ministry in Bombay

Here is a short video to give a glimpse into the Catholic Church in India, our time in Bombay and a few glimpses into our ministry here.

We have spoken to over 30,000+ hungry Catholics, anxious to learn how to defend their faith — mainly against Protestant sects vigorously attacking Catholics.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our exhausting time here — sometimes speaking up to five times a day and traveling many miles through chaotic traffic to get to far-flung venues.

We love the Indian people and now have a real devotion to them, their bishops and the Catholic Church here in India.

Egypt-Jordan Pilgrimage Postponed

giza-pyramids-at-dusk.28214912_stdTo no one's surprise, we had to postpone our Egypt and Jordan pilgrimage. We had planned to be in Egypt starting February 4, but the uprising made the pilgrimage impossible.

My own Egyptair flights from Bombay to Cairo were canceled; our pilgrims' flights on Delta from the US to Cairo were canceled. But we couldn't have taken people anyway as we watched the downward spiraling situation. We would never take pilgrims into harm's way.

Corporate Travel is doing an exceptional job handling all the problems related to postponement. I am grateful to them for their professionalism.

We are sorry to have this happen. Egypt is a wonderful country and I hope that after the transition — it will even be better. The population is over 20% Christian! Our pilgrimages support them since we use only Christian agents, guides and resources.

Since this trip was postponed, the next one is planned for February 7, 2012 and many of the pilgrims are already planning to join us on that trip — assuming things are calm and it is safe to go. Stay tuned at www.FootprintsOfGod.com!

Sister Keehan Accepts Bishops' Authority over Catholic Hospitals

carol KeehanWASHINGTON, D.C., JAN. 31, 2011 (Zenit.org).- Sister Carol Keehan, who garnered widespread attention with her support of Barack Obama's health care reform proposal in the face of the U.S. bishops' opposition to it, is acknowledging the authority of the local bishop in resolving moral and ethical questions for Catholic hospitals.

In a statement released today, Sister Keehan, who is the president of the Catholic Health Association (CHA), showed a united front with the president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York, in affirming the authority of the local bishop to interpret the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
