As spooky season ends, the season of stuffing begins! Before I head off to my cave to become the fat bear I am, I owe you all a title reveal. The title of Steel & Thunder Book 5 is:
Distance & Dragons
! That's all I can give you for now, but I'll let you imagine how that title could possibly tie into the story of the book. I'll have more for you soon, including a cover and synopsis, so stay tuned!
Work on my poetry/coloring book project is going well, and I think I'll have it completed by the end of November! The more I work on this, the more excited I am to see what everyone thinks of it. I also wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who responded to my call for reviews on Amazon for Ours last month. It's a big help, I've already got a few more up there, but every single one helps!
I don't have much else for you, but sometimes no news is good news. I will be taking the month of December off, though there will still be a December newsletter. I'll be pausing Patreon subscriptions at the end of the month, and I'll be queuing up some of my favorite previously posted stories all month long over there, if you need to tide yourself over until the new year.

It's finally spooky season AND Orctober, my two favorite times of the year! I had an amazing time at Smut Lovers a few weeks ago. It was awesome speaking on the LGBTQ+ panel with my fellow queer authors and I hope we answered the questions we received well. I met tons of new readers and signed so many books. I've already booked my table for next year, too!
Now, I know I ask for reviews a lot (I mean, what author doesn't), but I have a very specific request for you today. Ours has been out for over a month now, and it has gotten some amazing reviews on Goodreads... but not so much on Amazon. Part of that is because most of the reviews were written pre-release, and Amazon doesn't allow items to be reviewed until after they come out. So, if you've already left me a review on Goodreads, would you mind terribly popping over to Amazon and posting it there too? It really would mean a lot! And if you haven't left me a review yet... that would also mean a lot.
Alright, last month I teased the possibility of a title reveal for Steel & Thunder 5, but you're gonna have to wait just a little longer. Here's a hint, though - it rhymes with 'existence and wagons.' Full reveal next month!
What I can tell you about is that I've started work on my next project, which isn't quite a novel, but also isn't going to take me nearly as long as writing one would. It's the combination poetry and coloring book I posted about on Patreon in January. The book will be retelling the story of the first two Steel & Thunder books via a combo of poems and pin-up art! Writing poetry is not easy, even when you're just trying to be silly with it, but it is more fun than I expected. Really looking forward to getting this out to you all and seeing what you think!

This will be my second time attending the conference, and this year I'll actually be speaking on a panel! In addition to the author signing on Saturday where everyone can pick up and get me to sign their books, on Friday at 3 p.m. I will be taking part in the LGBTQIA+ panel. I hope to see some of you there!
In what I'm sure is even bigger news to some of you, I have finished the manuscript for Steel & Thunder Book 5! It is now in the hands of my trusty editor, and we are that much closer to getting it out to all of you. I think perhaps a title reveal may be in store for next month? ;)

That's right, there's only three weeks to go until Ours is out! It is still up for preorder in all of the usual places, including through my publisher 4 Horsemen! I am still working on Steel & Thunder Book 5 Manuscript and should have it done soon. Working through it has been very different from my past few novels, largely because of the break I took in the middle. I'm doing a lot of work connecting the early parts to the back half, but I am really happy with what I've got so far. I think I'll be ready for a title reveal very soon. ;D

The Crown and the Collar
released just last week, and it already hit #1 on the LGBTQ+ Erotica New Release chart! As always with a new book, I am here to beg you to leave me some reviews if you've had a chance to finish the book. Happy to report that the audiobook of Before the Storm is also available, including on Audible! As of right now the rest of my audiobook catalog is largely available on other platforms, but Audible has been slow to re-add them itself. As soon as they are up, I will make an announcement.
I'm back in the writing saddle, a little over halfway through Steel & Thunder Book 5. After taking a few months off, it was a little harder than I expected it to be. Had to re-read some of the last things I wrote a few times before I was in the right headspace - but I should have it finished by mid Spring!
I've also resumed posting chapters of my short stories on Patreon. We're actually wrapping two different stories this month, so it's a great time to join! I've actually got a few changes and updates in the works for my Patreon, which I will be announcing very soon.
