Happy National Doctor's Day

I love not getting sick or not visiting Doctors if given a choice,
still every Doctor that I have so far visited since childhood,
have left an indelible mark on my mind.
I may have never visited them again
after paying the bills or after getting cured,
But my heart remains forever indebted to them all.
I would have stepped into a hospital or a clinic
during my utmost emergencies, being totally ill or
for any consultation with so many doubts and fears.
But they have always helped me come out peacefully.
Today, with all my gratitude I wish all the Doctor's,
committed to their invaluable services to humanity
at the wake of this global pandemic,
a very Happy National Doctor's Day!

A wake up call !

A wake up call to all perpetual victims of rudeness and harassment.
"Have you ever been told you're 'too sensitive' ?"

Why wait for future years and future lifetimes...its high time to stand up for your own self today. There should be zero tolerance for disrespect or rudeness. Even after repeated earnest efforts, if nothing helps to resolve issues between two individuals, the best one can do is to "Thank" the other gracefully for the experience, take a deep breath, smile and walk away with all your self-respect...and never look back. Trust me, its life changing!

Every time I....

Every time I felt relieved that I have crossed a big hurdle in my life,
I found a new one staring right before my eyes.
Every time I assured myself that I have chosen the right path,
I ended up at the crossroads, unable to decide which way to turn next.
Every time I built my dreams with all my heart and soul,
I ended up seeing it crumble before my eyes like a pack of cards.
Every time I believed God will lift me up,
I fell down even deeper than I could imagine.
Every time I realised that this is how life is,
I became more grateful for all the blessings that keeps me going.

National Reading Day India 2021

In my childhood days, other than all my favourite toys, something held my interest by its looks - My Father's wonderful collection of books. It was a well-organized library for all ages with colorful, pictorial books in many languages. This love for books, has inspired me greatly, even though I began reading books innately. All new or advanced gadgets can never ever replace this reliable friend and great teacher. When I am in its company, I never feel lonely. It just transports me to any place magically. I feel great happiness each time my Father gifts me books of my favourite authors. Those books from the ones I hold dear, with an inscription, made me cheer. My books will forever be my best lifeline, Precious, Priceless, Treasures for Lifetime!

Be like the rock

"Just like the rock
that gets hit again and again
by the waves crashing on it,
in life, no matter how many times
you are hit by others,
be like the ROCK,
hold your ground and
never ever give up."
