THE WRAP UP: AVID BOOKSHOP AUTHOR EVENT!

Bobby shares his Evil WaysOn Saturday, July 12th, I joined with authors Deirdre deLaughter, Bill Hale, Amber Roessner, and Robert Vasvary for an Author Event at Avid Bookshop in Athens, GA. We started at 6:30 p.m. and each author was introduced by Avid's Rachel and did a short talk and Q and A session about their book. Afterward, there was a book signing and meet and greet.

I had an absolute blast. There was a nice crowd of about 30 or so who came out for the event and they came with really good questions, which is always nice. I even had one asked of me that I had never been asked before. Sadly, I didn't sell any books, which was a bummer, but it happens. Avid did keep a few signed copies on their shelves so if you're in the Athens, GA area and would like to pick up a copy of one of my novels (Evil Ways, Deadly Games!,
Earthstrike Agenda, Fight Card: Barefoot Bones, or Alexandra Holzer's Ghost Gal: The Wild Hunt) Avid has you covered.

Welcome to Avid BookshopSpecial thanks to the team at Avid Bookshop for inviting me and the other authors out for a wonderful event. I had a great time. Hopefully, we can do it again. You can learn more about Avid Bookshop here and join them on Facebook and Twitter.

I love author events like this and wish there were more opportunities to do them.

I took some photos with my inconsistent camera phone (all I have since I broke my camera). Apologies for the blurry ones. A special thank you to Deirdre deLaughter for snapping some shots of my presentation since I was flying solo. Please click on the images for a larger view.

I CAN'T GET NO... SATISFACTION!!!

Here's what I'm wearing in
the pilot episode.Next Thursday, look for me in the airport and airplane scenes in the first episode of Satisfaction on the USA Network. This was a fun couple days work working with Matt Passmore, who was very nice to work with.

I'll try to get some screen grabs when the episode airs and post them here.

Bobby

About Satisfaction:
Neil Truman has been married to his wife Grace for 16 years and they seem to have it all, but there’s still something missing...

Mark your calendars: SATISFACTION premieres next Thursday, July 17 at 10/9c on USA.

STARSHIP FARRAGUT “CONSPIRACY OF INNOCENCE” PREMIERE!

DVD cover artI joined the cast and crew of Starship Farragut for the premiere of their latest episode, “Conspiracy of Innocence”, which I wrote for the production. The premiere event started at 7:00 p.m. at Farragut Films studio in Kingsland, Georgia on Saturday July 5, 2014 with a showing of the previous Starship Farragut episode, “The Price of Anything” followed by a giveaway.

Then, the main event. John Broughton, who plays Captain Carter on the show, introduced the world premiere of “Conspiracy of Innocence” which was followed by a Q and A session with the producers of Starship Farragut; John Broughton, Jack Marshall, and Michael Bednar.

Producer Michael Day also took the stage to talk about the upcoming Farragut Fest convention at the studio being held December 6 - 7, 2014. You can learn more about it here. I will be attending Farragut Fest as well and hope to see you there.

After the episode, which was met with applause and some kind words by audience members (thank you so much for that, by the way), everyone headed over to the sets for a tour and a meet-n-greet with the cast & crew of Conspiracy of Innocence.

Broughton, Marshall, BednarI had a wonderful time at the premiere and I would like to thank the cast and crew behind “Conspiracy of Innocence” for putting together a fun episode. I’m honored to be part of it. It was a dream come true to get the chance to write a Star Trek episode. So much fun.

The episode will premiere on-line in a couple weeks.

I will share those links here as soon as the episode is available.
