THE DUMBEST WRITING ADVICE I'VE HEARD IN A LONG TIME!

Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!

I'm always amazed how often I am told what things I HAVE TO DO to be a writer. The only thing required to be a writer is to WRITE. Right? :)

On a writing group today, it was stated that EVERY writer had to smoke weed to be successful. Really? Every writer? So, I guess if I want to be successful, I now have to smoke weed, drink excessive amounts of

THESE ARE THE VOYAGES...

This month, patrons got a couple of extra treats as we journeyed beyond the final frontier with the scripts and my behind the scenes memories from working on the Starship Farragut "Conspiracy of Innocence" and Star Trek Continues "Pilgrim of Eternity" Star Trek fan films. I shared the scripts with all of my patrons, who are the first outside of the cast, crews, and

production staff who

TODAY'S OFFICE...

The view from my writing desk.

Today's office. A little off center so it's more like Gotham villain's lair. Trying to enjoy the nice weather and get some writing done. #amwriting

I love writing outside. It's peaceful and there are fewer interruptions.

Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards

TODAY'S OFFICE...

Not my usual view.

Our hero!

Today's office. Sitting at my dad's kitchen table, trying to get some writing done while he watches the race. Have to get him up once an hour to walk. He's making good progress recovering from his knee replacement surgery.

Writing is odd. I already wrote the last line of the chapter. Now, I'm writing to reach that point. It's funny how that happens. I was
