A NEW PROJECT BEGINS...

Ste One: plot/character notes.

My friend Bernadette Johnson (Lance Star: Sky Ranger, Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, How Stuff works) and I are writing a book together and we had our first plot/character discussion yesterday. Made some good progress and I'm looking forward to working with her to bring this project to life. It'll be fun. Sorry for the pixelated, blurry photo, but we

LANCE STAR: SKY RANGER GETS THE ACTION FIGURE TREATMENT!

OH MY GOD! THIS IS INCREDIBLE!

The amazing JD Onesi turned my Lance Star: Sky Ranger character into a G.I. JOE action figure.I am over-the-moon thrilled to see the photos of this figure. I love the G.I. Joe Real American Hero line and Lance looks great in this format. Thanks again for sharing these photos, JD. They are truly the highlight of my day. So cool.

Who is Lance Star: Sky Ranger,

PLAYING CATCH UP!

I had a really productive day yesterday. I spent most of Thursday catching up on past due obligations, including art for my extremely patient patrons who won the Patreon free monthly giveaway like this Thing piece for John Kilgallon, Rick Ruby for Robert McIntyre, Beaker piece for John Nacinovich, who had me draw it for his wife, Patricia. Of course, you can't have Beaker without his partner

A BOOK AND A DISH REVIEWS SNOW STORM!

"In Snow Storm, you'll find bullets flying and plenty of action!"

Big thanks to author Martha Cheves for inviting me back to share another recipe on the A Book and A Dish blog. While I tell you how to make my Parmesan breaded chick strips, Martha reviews SNOW STORM. You can read the full review and get some ideas for your next book club night HERE.

"Twists and turns that kept me reading!"

A HISTORY LESSON...

Take an interesting look at the history of the Domino Lady HERE. I love writing this character and am pleased to see that our Moonstone Books projects get a small mention in the video.

MIRROR, MIRROR, ON THE WALL...

50 years ago, yesterday, on October 6, 1967, Star Trek "Mirror Mirror" premiered. This episode created one of pop culture's most enduring tropes that is still used today: goatee = evil twin. Thank you, Mr. Spock.
