I need to know if the receipt states Putnam or Avon as the publisher. If it says Putnam, could you please tell me? I'm smiling as I write this. It's not that this pisses me off. I just find it humorous. I was browsing reviews of HELSINKI WHITE and some say things like "Thompson certainly gives a negative view of Finland," as if I've been mean and done a bad thing. Folks, I write Nordic Noir. Gritty crime. That's my job. I don't work for the Finnish National Board of Tourism.
