Finally Finished!
Finally in the editing stages of book 3 which releases next month! This one was much trickier to get through, and I blame Amanda. That girl is such a brat and just did not want to do what I told her.
Parker might love that about her, but I sure don't. Not that he was as well behaved as he was supposed to be either!
So if you read this next book and think to yourself "gee, this is a little different than the first two," you'll know why!

Plot bunnies run amok!!
While I'm still struggling with book three, I seem to have no trouble with the other 858,758,329 ideas that keep coming to me.
We authors always have a million notebooks floating around, and I always figured I'd have way more than I'd ever use, but now I'm not so sure...
I like to keep a separate notebook for each story idea/series/WIP, and I had to bust out two new ones this week to do brain dumps into to clear out some space.
And having ADHD, I tend to get overwhelmed when I'm stuck and I'll do anything- ANYTHING- to put off doing what I need to do.
I've spent more time working on ads and marketing this week than I ever have before, and that's my least favorite thing about being an author.
That should tell you something about how much trouble I'm having!
But I'm going to power through this! I just hope it doesn't suck when I'm done!

Writer's Block
I am reeeeaaalllly struggling right now with my third book in the MacLachlan Security Group series... and I don't know why!
While I was writing the second one, it seemed to go so well, but the whole time I was thinking about Parker and Amanda's story and chomping at the bit to get to the next book. I had so many ideas!
Now they've all just gone up in smoke. I can still picture some of the scenes that I'd envisioned, but I'm having a hard time getting them to string together into a cohesive story.
So, out of desperation I'm doing something that I normally wouldn't let myself do: I'm going back to the beginning and reading it through and making changes as I go.
Normally I won't let myself go back until I've finished the book, but I can't seem to move forward without going back. And doesn't that just sound profound AF!
Still hoping to have the next book out by the end of July, but it's not looking great. :/
