Fallen Butterfly takes flight!
Dear friends,
I hope all is good with you and yours. It’s been a while since I was last in touch but life has been busy as I was in full swing preparing for the launch of my tenth Mallorca-based title.
Fallen Butterfly, the third in my Mallorca mystery series, featuring feisty sleuth, Isabel Flores Montserrat and her pet ferret, Furó, is now published and available on Amazon and at all good bookshops including at bookshops in Palma and Soller in Mallorca.
This summer we had a bumper visitor season in Mallorca, and Soller was full to the brim with happy tourists, keen to discover the gastronomic and cultural jewels of the valley. The roads were busy and the beaches full but now as we are into winter, the valley is a delight as peace and tranquillity reigns. There is no traffic, the beaches are empty and the hills reverberate with the sounds of bleating lambs and goats. Utter bliss!
At this time of the year with the cooler weather, we residents take to the hills for calm and joyful hikes and picnics or sit out in Soller’s sunny plaça enjoying a cup of strong coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and fresh croissants. The oranges will soon be ripe and our lemons are almost ready to pick. It’s a truly beautiful time of year.
I am currently in discussions with a London studio about my very first audiobook for The Devil’s Horn, the first in the crime fiction series. Do you listen to audiobooks? Also, what attracts you to a particular audiobook, and do you prefer the author’s own voice or that of a well-known personality? I’d love your thoughts and feedback.
The fourth book in the Isabel Flores Mystery series is currently in the planning stage and will be published next year. The plot lines and characters are filling my dreams at night.
So, finally, I’d just like to wish you and yours the most wonderfully relaxing and joyful 2023 filled with fun and mischief!
I look forward to remaining in touch. And if you do decide to read Fallen Butterfly, I would be hugely grateful, as ever, if you would kindly leave a review on Goodreads and on Amazon.
My warmest regards,
Anna
