“I’ve had some time to think.” Alexander said looking them over. “And in doing so, I decided to create something that might balance the scales. We beings carry immortality, and I fear it gives us a certain kind of block on reality. Makes us take things for granted. But what if we couldn’t live forever? What if you actually had to value the ones you held dear? What if you grew old, and was aware of one’s mortality? It might make one more cautious, more appreciative.”
“Mortality?” One of the fairies questioned, her tiny face growing pale.
“You mean…as in dying?” An elf asked warily.
“I mean as in...human.”

Updates!
So during the my journey of writing book two (The dark crown)...I’ve been going back and forth about how I want to end it. And during this dilemma I realized that this story has outgrew the molding I originally set for it. And a couple mornings ago, I decided that the ‘Purity lost in vain series’ will more than likely consist of four books, rather than a Trilogy. It’s such a big story that goes far beyond just a mere crown, or just a male and his mate. There is blood there is revenge, lost, gain and betrayal. For there is a beginning as will there be an end. After all it is written. There is love and there is lost, but most of all there is a cost.
