At Eternity's Gates Out Now... And the Empire Of Ruin series is complete!
Over the weekend, the last book in my Empire of Ruin series, At Eternity's Gates, came out and marked the completion of the series!
It's a funny feeling. I'll miss a lot of the characters I won't write about ever again (due to plot reasons and choice, some deserve a rest!) but I'm satisfied that the end has come. I do plan on returning to the world of the Empire of Ruin series (both before these events and long after) but this story is now told.
Early reviews have been very positive, which is great to see. I'd never written a final book before, but strove to make it as epic and satisfying as I could. There were many sequences long in the planning that I'd been itching to write, and now they're in black and white for all to see.
Thank you to everyone who has read along so far, and for those who (understandably) like to wait until a series if finished until they dive in, well, I hope you enjoy from the humble beginnings with In Solitude's Shadow, to the epic conclusion At Eternity's Gates.

New Release Updates
Hello - this is my first blog on Goodreads! Will anyone read it? Let's find out!
A few updates - I have an Apocalyptic short-read novelette out on May 14th called "A Place Beyond the Storm." The first review came in for it last week - 5 stars! - and is available on eBook for just 0.99c! It's been described as mix between Fallout 4, The Road, and Z for Zachariah, so if that heady mix appeals to you, check it out.
Speaking of reviews, my dark fantasy series Empire of Ruin has its debut on June 4th with "In Solitude's Shadow" and is currently out in the hands of ARC reviewers. To be honest, it's a delight that anyone is reading it, but it's still nerve-wracking waiting for those first reviews to come in. "Solitude" is a character-driven dark fantasy with an ensemble cast, and I'm hopeful people will enjoy it. There's more to come.
I'll leave it there for now - the review wait starts again soon with the re-release of the expanded version of Dead Man Walking and its sequel, The Devil Walks In Blood. Which reminds me, I need to go and write.
