Decadent grilled cheese
Caramelize onions in butter(I use all unsalted because of my diet). Butter two slices of bread (I used rye). Place onions on bread, add shaved gruyere cheese, add a layer of cranberry sauce. I added some chopped fresh basil for extra punch. Grill. Enjoy!

We are in lockdown so no visiting. My youngest grandson said since he can't visit me for Mac n cheese could I please mail him some. His family looked at him like he had three eyes and he said WHAT? We can microwave it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤

I am very tired of being in lockdown. Today I baked Apple fritters in the air fryer. They were very good. The texture was like hot cross buns.

Tonight for dinner we are trying something new. Creamy Balsamic Chicken and Mushrooms. I will report back tomorrow as to how it went.

New Year's Eve
It is a different New Year's Eve this year. No party to have or go to. We are having Chili, garlic bread and Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Looking forward to it. Happy New Year everyone!
