Research
Research is such a necessary component of writing fiction. In both Within the Fog and Hunted, I had to conduct some serious research to use past events as support in both novels. I believe that utilizing true events inside a work of fiction lends an element of reality to a horror or thriller story. One of my favorite compliments from a reader was regarding my use of the History of Roanoke Island as historical support for the Croatoan character. Hunted offers some intriguing historical elements too that I have already had questions on. I’ll keep you in suspense on all that for just a little longer.

Bruce Willis
If I could meet any famous actor, my choice would be Bruce. I have always been a Willis superfan. I love the chippy, irritated attitude of his characters and the man is seriously underrated as an actor. Think about it. If you were a character in an action movie and were up to your elbows in deep shit, who would you want to have as a partner in the film? Bruce! An ordinary average guy who takes no shit from anyone and fears nothing. His characters are like watching David standing before Goliath with a middle finger extended. If a movie has Bruce in it, I’m in.
