Laia is an illustrator currently located in Barcelona.
With a remarkable traditional arts background and a strong knowledge of the digital media, developed by the years working on 3D animation studios, Laia has become a well recognized illustrator with several publications, some of the most sucsessful ones being dedicated to her passion, the recovery of local folklore.
Laia has developed a very personal style with a careful attention to details, both for the rigor that folklore documentation demands and to create whimsical worlds and creatures where imagination can endlessly fly, and her work has been published on books, magazines and advertising.
