Kenneth J. Martz, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist working in treatment and management of mental health and addiction for the past twenty-five years. He has specialty training in Chinese medicine, yoga, meditation, and hypnosis, as well as supervision and management.

Dr. Martz has authored over a dozen publications including serving on eight doctoral dissertation committees. If I am stuck in one place, it is easy to choose another and keep going. 3) Return to my readers. Remembering my community is incredibly helpful. Often the book topic was already chosen (requested) by one of my readers. Remembering this writing as a gift is a great tool to get past my personal block, and get back to work. While not everyone has the gift of writing, that can be managed with technical support from editors, web designers, and other such specialists.

The best thing about being a writer is that it allows us to take our unique gifts, in my case 25 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment, and share them with others. I regularly read books, journal articles, and "how-to" videos, on everything from computers through how to fix my garage door. As a writer, it allows a shared, community exchange of our gifts to our friends as well as to others in need. (less)
