Despite the year.

How has your year been?

I know you made plans or maybe you didn't but you hoped for calm, quiet, peace and good health but 2020 picked a different manual and pushed those plans out the door.

—Still, count your blessings.
You cleaned up after yourself now? Learning a new trick or skill from the internet? Made a new friend? Ventured into a new business or let your hair down awhile; it is okay to count your blessings and name them you never know if they had been on your list.

—Be grateful.
For another day, another song, another meal, another friend, another hour, another joke. Be grateful for it all. For the feel of the breeze on your face, the sand beneath your feet. Smile, take our all in and breath out in thanks.

—Inspite of all, there is still time to regroup, to re-strategize. There is still time to grow the seed in your womb. Anything can happen people. Say thank you and lift up your eyes to the new. But, take it easy on yourself you are not in a race.

New work is on the way but for now, Go read: Pose

A magic wand for my rewrite?

I am in the middle of an earthquake I said to myself two days ago.

Exaggerating? Eh, maybe. But, it felt like an earthquake.
Books, papers, scattered around, me in the center of it close to tears because I could not find my pink coloured pen? Epic.

Oh! I digress, I wanted to tell you something cool. Stay with me.
If you hate rewrites like me but have no choice but to do it, "I gat you."
I have found a magic wand to wave all your sorrows away and mine. 😃

Introducing... Magic wand—

Just write the rewrite already lazy. And that is also for you Abas. Shoo! Off social media and let's go rewriting.
Note: Something this way cometh!

Alert! Writer in cloud nine.

How do you feel after achieving a feat that for you seemed impossible?

If you are like me you would feel cozy, tired but happy and fulfilled.

It took me four months of planning to execute a feat (put together a print Magazine). To some its a small step but to me? Huge.

This achievement however has had a negative effect on my writing and Facebook page. I flunked deadlines to reach the project, I guess the habit wanted to stick.

Starting yesterday, I decided to put my foot down and sent out three overdue projects.
So what do you do when the success cloud is eroding reason?

• Put your foot down.

• Stand up and do it even if you don't feel like it.

• Get yourself an accountability partner and set a price you pay for missing the target.

•Um, go easy on yourself okay?

This is another reason I am in cloud nine
