The Freedom of Letting Go

I’m evaluating 2019 a little differently. It’s been a year of self-reflection and inner work. Normally when I evaluate a year, I look at what I’ve accomplished. This year, my biggest accomplishment has been letting go. Here are a few things I’ve released this year:

Equating my value with my ability to make moneyNeeding to monetize everythingEquating whether my actions or efforts have value based on my ability to monetize themNeeding to always be “doing something”Needing to always have my...

Your Dreams Will Find a Way

Are you making space for your dreams? Or are you pushing them aside as impractical or impossible? Do you even have dreams? I’ve asked many people how they envision their ideal lives, and they can’t answer that question without saying something like, “I don’t know, but not this.” They know what they don’t want, but they don’t know what they DO want.

I believe everyone is put here for a reason. That reason varies from person to person. Yet, there are some universal truths. I believe ideally you...

Potassium Rich Omelet Recipe

After being diagnosed as pre-diabetic with low vitamin D about 6 months ago, I started digging into ways to improve my diet.

My research led me to discovering the importance of getting enough nutrients like Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium. For example, I tend to carry a lot of water weight – so much that I couldn’t get my engagement ring on and off. So I’d stopped wearing it. I really wanted to wear that ring. So, in the beginning of October, I stuck it on my finger anyway and started Intermitte...

Intermittent Fasting Support

If you follow me on Facebook or on Instagram, you’ve likely seen pictures of what I’ve been eating for supper lately!

Now I’m not one of those Instagram stars that has to post a picture every time she sits down to the table. I’m doing this for an entirely different reason, a reason that is not only going to help me, but can help you too.

You see, I’ve begun an important journey…one that is not only going to impact my weight, but is going to offer me the very real possibility of protection against heart disease, c...

What Music Taught Me About Big Dreams

Most of us think of big dreams as things we’ve said we want to be, do or have. But sometimes big dreams are the things you’re too scared to even admit out loud, that seem so impossible you’ve never written them down or put them on a vision board. If so, that deep inner longing could be the very thing you’re here to do.

For me, it was music. I started taking piano lessons at age 5. I had no natural ear, no innate ability that anyone could see. My grandmother was a child prodigy, learning to p...

Vulnerability in Business

A very successful colleague I’ve known for over a decade admitted via social media the other day that he had a fear of letting people really see him, his personality, his full self, warts-and-all. I never would have guessed this gentleman cared what people thought or that he had a hard time showing vulnerability in business. He’s incredibly successful. This is a man who dives out of airplanes just to confront his fears. Yet, he’s afraid to get vulnerable in business.

I found his post incredib...

When Big Dreams Start Happening Fast

Over the years I’ve worked with many people in their businesses, helping them write, publish and market books and information products, get web sites up and market them. I’ve noticed something about how humans react when big dreams start happening fast. Because I’m known for simplifying things and getting things done fast, I’ve noticed that people experience a lot of emotions and fears when they make sudden progress on their business goals.

For example, during a business retreat at our home,...

Lori Loughlin and the College Entrance Scheme: A Lesson for Us

Ok I’ll admit it. I’m a “Heartie” and I’m bummed Lori Loughlin’s alleged involvement in the college entrance bribery scheme screwed up one of my favorite shows (When Calls the Heart) …after it already received a blow from another main character leaving.

If Loughlin and her husband are found guilty, then their choices really screwed up their entire family (and the Hallmark family). If they somehow are found not guilty, then they’re still screwed. In this country you no longer need a trial-by-j...

Why Trump Supporters Don’t Care What Hearings Uncover

If you are not a President Trump supporter, if you’re part of the mainstream media, if you’re the least bit confused why some of us voted for Donald J. Trump, let me explain something to you that may clarify matters. You don’t have to agree with us, but perhaps you will understand us a little better. We voted for President Trump and will keep supporting him in 2020 and beyond because of the following key reasons:

We wanted someone with boldness and audacity to stand up to the establishment....
