Fred Feldkamp has been a feature writer for many newspapers; a book reviewer for the New York Herald Tribune; horse-racing writer for the International Herald Tribune; and an editor at Life. He was managing editor of the March of Time and a Marine Corps combat correspondent in World War II. He adapted Eisenhower's Crusade in Europe into a Peabody Award-winning television series and is an independent film producer (Operation Manhunt, The Silken Affair, Triple Cross).
