Born in a rural town in northern Tennessee, D.R. O’Shea had quite a nomadic existence prior to settling in New Hampshire. He credits his many early adventures for sparking a lifelong passion for exploration, creativity and an insatiable appetite for learning new things.

When not writing, O’Shea can be found hiking the wilds of his chosen home state, visiting his favorite places around the world, painting or strumming a few bars on his guitar.

Th…moreI suppose I deal with it by having a fully formed outline. I start with a high level view, maybe three main points - the beginning, middle and end. Then I dig down a bit. I write a few pages of a detailed outline for the story. Focusing on large scenes. The words in between those huge scenes are the hardest part for me. Finding a way to bring my story together was difficult.
BUT, I've only written one book as of this response. I haven't truly had to deal with a block, only lack of motivation.(less)
