Captain Autumn [GURPS 4e]
This was one of those where I didn’t know what the guy’s deal was until I wrote it down.
Captain-AutumnDownloadIn the Mail: GURPS HORROR: THE MADNESS DOSSIER.
Purchased by accident, honestly: I forgot it was in the cart. I already had GURPS HORROR: THE MADNESS DOSSIER in digital form, and while I wanted a print copy… well, my family’s weekly grocery bill has gone up by thirty to fifty percent in the last year. One has to be mindful.
Still, it’s a fun concept for a horror game, full of ancient Sumerian gods, brain hacking, and secret conspiracies to keep reality itself from being rewritten. I definitely can recommend it as a sourcebook. Then again, I could have just said, ‘written by Ken Hite,’ and that would have been sufficient.
Patreon Microfiction: Labyrinth.
‘Labyrinth’ came from a fun game of Microscope I played, a few months back. …It mostly makes sense only if you played that particular spontaneously-generated campaign, huh? Shame, because it was a fun night.

Hey, guess what! Fallout’s getting a horrible TV show!
Sorry, guys. I believe that you believe. Alas, the tide of history is against you.
Ironically, I could believe the Fallout show would be good if Jonathan Nolan had a budget of eight hundred bucks and was counting on getting all his shooting done before somebody drove up to see who was kicking up all that dust at the abandoned factory. Those shoestring productions work. But when you give ’em a budget, well…

PS: Dammit, now I want to reinstall Fallout 4.

Got the last part of UNHOLY ANGLES up.
Part 3 is here. I’ll go over the entire thing again and get it up on Patreon in its final form by Monday. Let me know if you like this way of doing my short stories!

Book of the Week: Councilor: A Novel in the Grand Illusion.
I’m not going to lie: many of you might find L.E. Modesitt’s Councilor: A Novel in the Grand Illusion a bit dry. The series itself is mostly concerned with political shenanigans in a steampunk-ish parliament, with the occasional assassination and/or government chicanery tossed in. I like it, but I can recognize that not everybody will. Still, it was what I was reading this week.
So it goes.

Superman is worth a Geralt, apparently.
I can understand the decision, obviously. If I was in Henry Cavill’s place I’d make the same one. But Gabe’s right: there will be lamentations over this.
