To Dream of White & Gold

This post is to give a few more details about my book, To Dream of White & Gold. It's the first of four novels in an epic future fantasy/fantasy romance NA series, Death Dreamer Legacy.
To Dream of White & Gold follows seventeen-year-old Lyda d'Cathan's coming-of-age journey, as she discovers she has inherited a dangerous magical gift from her long-dead mother, Siva. To find out more about her gift (and her mysterious mother), Lyda is forced to leave the city she loves and follow in Siva's footsteps, travelling further from home than she ever imagined. To succeed in her quest for knowledge, Lyda must navigate new people, new cultures, and new languages, and confront some truths about herself along the way.
In terms of TW, there is some violence in this novel, and a discussion of rape (via a story - everything is off page).
Though the Death Dreamer Legacy series is intended to fall into the New Adult basket, including POV characters ranging between the ages of 17-30, To Dream of White & Gold also fits neatly into upper YA.
To Dream of White & Gold will be released on August 1, 2020.

book review: the spirit in the crypt
When fifteen-year-old Jonathan Roberts goes out with his friends on a summer night, he doesn’t expect to be forced to enter a crypt by Francis Everton. To be forced to look at skeletons decaying in their graves. To hear the voice, screaming at him. Screaming into his mind. Commanding him to leave.
