ONE BOOK

My first book (MY LIFE MY STORY MY JOURNEY & A TALL TALE.) Wow! what a learning curve it has been, Writing this book was the easy part. The publishing and marketing has been overwhelming. The publishing was not that much of a challenge. But what I have learnt is. Publishers are all about the money upfront. Yes you get your book edited and published and distributed. Any further contact with them is should I say. Falls on deaf ears. Further assistance is only recognized by the jingle of your pockets. Marketing is another monster. To have your book marketed is a crap shot. From prices that very anywhere from 0 to thousands of dollars. The money spent on advertising is only as deep as your gold mine. And will not guarantee sales. Nonfiction is a whole different character to sell. I am in no way complaining. Just some lessons learned for books 2 and 3. I will continue to write and document my pilgrimage. I will explore self publishing. Nonfiction I will continue to write.
