After completing her painting education at the Fine Arts High School, Gülşah Alçın Özek pursued a master's degree in graphic design. Her love for Disney Princesses from a young age sprouted her interest in drawing ever since she was a little girl. In her colorful adventure that started with a dream, she worked in the hopes of creating a dreamlike world for young people. She enjoys experimenting with colors and paints, as well as getting lost in the floaty texture of watercolors and in the sensitive tints and tones of pastel paint. To date, she has illustrated more than 100 children's books so far, and many stories for children's magazines. ‘Knock Knock’ is her first collaboration with Hachette Antoine Publishing House in Lebanon. ...more
