How do you deal with writer’s block?

So many h…moreTo date, I've never had writer's block. I may have good days and bad days but the most important factor in completing a novel is discipline. So many hours a day, so many days a week, I sit in front of my computer and write or compile information relating to the project I'm working on. If after a couple of hours, I'm not satisfied with the quality of my writing then I'll do something that doesn't require much mental work, like spending time in my greenhouse or listening to music. Selecting music that conveys the mood I want to create in the portion of a story I'm working on puts me in the right frame of mind. After an hour or two, I'll go back and tackle the beast. (less)
