Goodreads Giveaway for 100 copies of The Light Tower ends June 29
My latest novel, "The Light Tower," published on March 9. To celebrate, we are running a Goodreads Giveaway for 100 free copies of the Kindle version. The contest ends June 29, so enter now to win!

"The Light Tower" is a fictional novel that grew out of a tragic article I read when we lived downtown in Chicago. The article reported about a pregnant woman in labor who escaped from a Chicago hospital, climbed to the top of a light tower in a nearby abandoned railway yard, and then jumped to her death. The mother died, but the paramedics miraculously saved the baby.
That story hit me like a ton of bricks. After that, I often wondered what would make a woman do that? What happened to the baby?
Years later, I decided to write my own fictional story about two characters -- a pregnant mother that jumps to her death and her surviving daughter. I also used this opportunity to explore the genre of “dual-timeline” novels, which I had not previously written.
So far, the book is well received, with 4.5 stars on Amazon. If it sounds interesting, the Giveaway is a fun way to win a copy free! As always, thanks for reading my books.
