Introducing: Montoya Merino Light!

Ask Me Monday: Introducing Montoya Merino Light, the latest Vickie Howell yarn!

Montoya Merino Light

I am so excited to FINALLY be able to share the 2nd yarn in the Montoya Merino Line! Montoya Merino Light is a sport-weight superwash merino that has a soft hand and drapes like a dream. It comes in 12, super-saturated shades, with names giving a nod to the southwestern heritage of my paternal family, and is perfect for warmer weather garments and accessories.

Cat’s Eye Lace

Cat’s Eye Lace

This week on Ask Me Monday, I show how to knit Cat’s Eye Lace. This stitch pattern is a great introduction to working two-sided lace. It’s not difficult and packs a lot of visual punch. It’ll prime you for success for that next-level lace in your knitting future!

Cat’s Eye Lace is the technique I used when designing the Eyes Wide Shawlette for the YarnYAY! Box #47. It’s beautiful for summer-y pieces like this one, wraps, tops, and more. Have fun!
