A Difficult Decision

It is with a heavy heart and a lot of consideration that I'm doing this. This decision wasn't an easy one to make, but I believe it is necessary and right.

I am pulling Chasing Gold from publication. Chasing You will remain up for now as it can stand on its own (you won't get to see them become a couple) until I can figure out the best way to go about this series.

I've loved writing the Skating Series, I've learned so much by writing and publishing it. But due to circumstances that I cannot fix quickly, I've decided this was the only correct option.

Harlow and Bentley deserve their story to be told, but they deserve a book free of errors. I no longer have the document to make the edits, it has completely vanished. So the only way to fix it is to write it again. And as much as I loved their beginning, I don't have the time and there are other things I would like to spend my time on than re-writing it.

Yes, I feel guilty. Yes, this decision sucks. Yes, I'd love to split myself into ten so I could complete everything. Yes, I'm embarrassed. Yes, I wish technology wasn't so finicky. But, yes, I've learned, I've grown, and I won't make the same mistakes. We're all human, and we all make mistakes. I wish mine wasn't done so publicly, but here we are.

If you've read this all the way through I thank you. Thank you for reading, reviewing, following and supporting my journey. Feel free to share. I am proud of this story, I loved both of the books in the Skating Series, but knowing there are errors that I don't have the means to fix right now, makes it hard to want to promote it.

Chasing Gold Update.

If you've read Chasing Gold or planned to in the future this is for you.

To get right to the point, Chasing Gold has errors in its manuscript. There was a error with the proofreading and the final document. No one is at fault here, except maybe technology.

Since publishing I've lost the word document for Chasing Gold. I am still working at recovering it, but it's taking a lot longer than anticipated, and I'm not sure if I can ever fully recover the file.

What does this mean?

This means that for the time being, Chasing Gold with remain published with errors (unless I choose to pull the book). I am not proud of this, nor am I pleased. Frankly, it's embarrassing, but it happens to the best of us and I'm moving on and pushing through. I hope that if you choose to read or have read Chasing Gold that the errors did not sway your enjoyment from the sweet story of young adults chasing their dreams and falling in love.

Thank you to all of those who have read read and reviewed this novel. My betas and ARC readers have been nothing short of kind and amazing to work with.

TBR 2022

Typically I set to read 12 books in a year, that gives me one book a month. BUT, with my new discovery of Libby, I can get audiobooks for free with my library card, so I upped my goal to 15, to start slowly. I've loved audiobooks when I'm able to find them on YouTube, it's a great way to read whilst also doing other things, I like to paint whilst listening to audiobooks.

Have you gotten into audiobooks?

Here's to 2022

Hello everyone! I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has read and reviewed my books, and those that continue to do so.

I know it can be frustrating when you read something you don't like, and I know I feel so bad when I read books I don't like. But what really helps me when going into some books is remembering it's just a fun story.

My books are not meant to have deep meanings or some philosophical awakening, they are just fun, silly stories; most of the time about kids falling in love for the first time.

With all of the said I am so looking forward to releasing the Chasing Gold sequel and a Christmas book! And I am so excited to read all the books that have been sitting on my shelf for what feels like ages!

I hope 2022 brings you joy and fun, books that make you happy and I can't wait to connect with more readers!

Happy 2022!
