Algorithms
They come to understand us through numbers and baseline responses.
They satisfy our egos while unbeknownst they strangle the self.
They collect bookshelves of data and present us with false images etched in family members.
Do you remember December?
The face you made as that instrumental played?
It went with a meme.
It was connected to an article.
Hypothetically we call it fake news.
Designed to confuse the public and diffuse scientific community.
Fearmongering disunity with impunity.
They sell us things.
They tell what our friends like as if they own it.
I admit I too am on Instagram.
I took a year off social media and immediately I could clearly see a new reality for me.
Arbitrarily speaking I begin to see poetry.
I begin to see poetry algorithmically and its opposite in duality.
My reality shattered and reformed I chose to conform to artistic expression.
I add these confessions to the algorithm.
This is my attempt at off setting the formula.
All the creators are doing it.
We add the expressions of man that vividly describe the tears of an angel.
To some degree social media has America in an ankle lock.
But is America Achilles or could he be the international community on its knees?
Mathematically speaking algorithms can speak the language of the mob.
What if Facebook calculated in the time of the Salem Witch Trials?
Bonfires would have gone live and viral.
Algorithms can spiral out of control and context.
If left unchecked calculations and gratification can lead gentrification and further separation.
The New World is inclusion and expression.
Feed the algorithm expressions of love and wisdom and that will be what it knows.
Overload its calculus with hedonistic self gratification unabashed to the good of the common core and the algorithm will reciprocate.

Detonation
What does it mean to detonate?
Not to procrastinate the inevitable but to activate one’s potential.
Knowing thyself is not detrimental to detonation.
Dedication to a code is all that’s required.
Society hired the standard and removed the ladder.
Calm yourself.
Does the elf require wealth to maintain its health?
I consider health to be of higher desire than the finest attire.
Our eyes go to the finest supplier even if they are all liers.
Take fire and let it consume you.
Like the womb that that held you before your dedication to life.
Don’t let this wildlife distract your eye to the afterlife; detonate that which is in you.
Not to exclude fantasy from reality but to shorten the distance between the two.
Deep within us heavenly energy sleeps.
Do not weep for her imprisonment because Angels keep their promises.
She rests for the day we accept her detonation.

Disconnected
By A. I. M. Lawal
Before the phone rings you get a message.
Discouraged you realize that your friend’s line has been discontinued.
This issue is due to the simple fact they did not pay their dues to their service provider.
Perhaps someone answered but their accent did not match your expectations.
The conversation was an abbreviation of common society but that’s another conversation B.
Our generation seeks not to be chained to one line but to a profile.
Our bank accounts, much like our social profiles, are designed to be agile meanwhile our attachments to traditional connection lines are cut.
But this is not to say that we are unable to answer the call if summoned by society.
To think that it is a casualty to our community that we treat our phone numbers like single use contraceptives is in error.
In our calculus our little black book looks digitally different.
We still manage to pay the rent even if the phone line is sacrificed.
Roll the dice and never think twice.
We are slightly disconnected from society but this does not mean that we can not be reached.
One must breach the economic vail that prevails in American rationality.
In reality we realize that there is more than one way to skin a cat; holler back.

The Devil’s Interest
[image error]
By Roman Pierce
How intense do you insist to enlist into the good life?
Are you interested in in selling your birthrights to the afterlife?
Can you afford to pay the Devil’s interest?
I confess that you should look at the situation closely before you sign on the dotted line.
Can you afford the Devil’s interest?
He’s sense is in arrogance over confidence.
Arrogance is hubris backed by little more than hot air.
Beware arrogance because it is a fasle sense of accomplishment.
The Devil has interest in foolishness coupled with ignorance no matter how intelligent a person is.
The Devil’s relatives find sense in the spoils of capitalism over matters of the soul.
Their bold spirits drawn to his black hole.
They sold their souls for holdings that do not transfer to the afterlife.
They traded Jesus Christ for stocks and bonds.
Babylon is upon us.
God’s soldiers can no longer stay anonymous because the Devil’s interest is compounding while taking hold.
The Devil’s flock was bold enough to say “In God we trust”, but they worship the bust of Bahamel.
What is the price tag on hell’s bail?
Who is it’s bondsman?
Whoever the man and whatever the price I wouldn’t pay it to save my life.
I’d rather survive here and have my afterlife in the clear.
Beware the Devil’s interest.
It insists on luxury over sanity.
It worships vanity over humanity.
It praises animosity over authenticity.
We were born in simplicity but our culture pushed us further to complexity compelling the weak to take hold of the Devil and it’s interest.
It takes sense to sense the Devil and it’s interest.
Patience is a virtue that derives longer life and prosperity.
Absolutely the Devil’s interest is too heavy to compensate.
God’s interest was paid for us before our birth, but some trade their wealth for a curse and a hurst.
Beware the Devil’s Interest.

Third Eye War Cry
[image error]
By Roman Pierce
It’s dark as night, but I see you clear as day.
Stay an arm’s length away, for I have no time to play.
Your heart is twilight and my mind is white light.
Dark acolyte my godlike power source you fear.
You commender sight through tumor humor.
I assess your game while my third eye takes aim.
I’ll call you by your surname as I claw through your sinister brain.
You were raised by Dames while I was brought up by men.
My friend don’t make me sin for my bread I’m clearly here to win.
You got too close to godsend , so close your life could of ended.
I extended my might through sight and action.
My natural reaction to your distraction is a brash thrashing.
I see you passing your savagery casually quietly feasting on the meek.
Your practices make you weak.
My third eye seeks like a missile to destruct and disrupt what the fuck your up to.
It’s instrumental.
To tell the truth I’m juiced up with the Holy Spirit.
Fear it for your spirit is kindred to Satan making you public enemy to me number one God’s son.
It’s fun to go to war with minors like you.
I’m Angel Michael in the booth and I’ll crucify you to the truth.
My words act as a nuce and they call no truce.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the support I have received from writing and sharing. I have finished a book dubbed Millennial Philosophy Thoughts Expanded. Millennial Philosophy is a collection of poetry and essays shedding light on the Millennial perspective. The book touches on passion, brotherhood, government, and spirituality. This is not a complete take on the Millennial question, but an attempt to add artistic clarity on the matter. Feel free to consider the work and leave a review for future readers. It is available now on Amazon
