McBride cites big name retailers (Nike, Ralph Lauren, Vans, Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Patagonia, and North Face) as examples of a growing trend in companies choosing to leave Amazon’s shelves. Jack of Souls by Stephen MerlinoThe White Tree by Edward W. RobertsonThe Shadow of What Was Lost by James IslingtonFootfall by Larry Niven and Jerry PournelleThe Lesser Talisman by James L. GillaspyThe Midnight Sea by Kat RossName the Wind by Patrick RothfussOut of Time...

I’d done my research, read some great articles, and pored over dozens of advice posts on the in’s and out’s of audio books production. I knew better than to try going DIY (narration requires a talent I do not possess) and so set a reasonable budget that wasn’t bargain-basement.
