Thankful Thursday: In Too Deep
I wanted to start a #Thankfulthursday post because I wouldn’t even be a blip in the book world without my readers and the amazing bloggers that share about my books. I can’t name all of them (although I wish I could) but each week I am going to highlight a handful. Wednesday Inspiration: In Too Deep
So if we’re talking about inspiration, I have to go way way back. All the way to the origional publication (that was quite cringy) under an ancient and no longer used pen name. Am I going to tell you what that is? Nope because it will scare you away. I still get nightmare from that work sometimes. It was bad persay, just lacking in a lot of areas.
Anyway, this amazing little novella was loosely inspired by my BFF Jessica. Her life was in a rough place and I fantasized about the perfect relationship for her. Fastforward three years and she actually met and got engaged to a guy with the same name as the MMC!
I couldn’t have ever pictured that happening but who knows, maybe I’m a secret magical matchmaker. Anyone looking for a hunk in their life? JK.
Anyway, with a new penname came a new version of the story and we were (re)introduced to Noah and Harper. Their spicy love story was fast-tracked to a fake dating, second chance novella that is literally swoon worthy. It’s up there in my favorite fake-dating tropes.

Teaer Tuesday: In Too Deep
#TeaserTuesday is probably my favorite book day next to #sinfulsaturday because I love seeing and sharing quotes from books. To me, they are those little moments that made me swoon aor bite my lip with anticipation. And In Too Deep has a lot of those moments. I’d have to say, for a novella this baby packed a punch. It was so hard to choose just one for today.

Wendy Darling Review
This is the perfect Neverland retelling I didn't know I needed! Peter and the lost boys are all grown up in this tale and they are worth every year Wendy has waited for them. Wendy is now in her twenties, existing in the normal world but not thriving. Until one day Peter's shadow comes back to her. Followed by a very Grumpy Peter. This story is a continuation of the original story with some grown up action and twists I never saw coming. I tore through it in a day because I could not put it down. Fantastic story!

The Dark One Review
Fantastic book! Lots of dirty bits so go in prepared. This story picks right where the never king left off with pan and the gang searching for the shadows. Be ready for a cliffy that will make you throw your book at the wall!

I Never Expected You Review
It was cute. Be prepared for a slow burn with A LOT of grieving in the beginning.
Haylee and Zach are kids who grew up together. After the unexpected death of Emmet (Haylee's brother and Zach's best friend) they find themselves leaning on one another to cope. Well that turns into a relationship and the rest is history. There are a lot of moments that were told to us that I would have loved to see. Glossing over them made me feel a little detached from the story, especially since it was first person. But it was an easy read I finished in less than two days. It wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad either.
