The Hunter's Rage

The Hunters Rage (Rage MC, #2) The Hunters Rage by Elizabeth N Harris

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Out of the many books, I've written Ace and Artemis is one of my favourite Rage stories, they all mean something special to me but this one had that extra special kick to me.

After we met Ace in Rage of the Phoenix, it was obvious he was tortured and he wasn't happy or living, he was existing. We had a slight knowledge of his background but it left a mystery.

Ace wouldn't want the woman who stayed at home and was Miss Homebody. Ace needed someone with fire and spirit and who'd accept his scars and dark side because she had her own. Someone who'd see past the dark and bitterness to the man he still was, loyal, brave, caring, loving. Ace was still there buried under the darkness.

This one wrote itself. The research I did was awful. There's so many tragedies out there, so many women suffered worse then what I described to Artemis. I've spoken to people who survived torture at the hands of a loved one, and Artemis is based on those survivors, the one's who refused to lie down and die! So much respect for them. I just wish evil like that didn't exist today but it does.

I've been criticised for being too harsh or not realistic, all I can say if women have babies cut out of them more often than we like, or want to believe, and they both survive and thrive. There's evil out there people!

The Rage of Reading comes out on the 1st of June. It's Jett's and Sinclairs story. Will a prospect get his woman? Or will a brother take her from him!
