Lost in Translation

I've been asking for reviews and comments from fellow authors and readers for the last few weeks and I've had some amazing feedback. The writing community is awesome. I can't thank them enough.

One thing that tickled my pickle today was a message on twitter. An American author had queried my use of 'pocket rocket'. In Britain it means a short energetic person. Apparently in the US it has a whole new meaning. I won't mention the British and US definitions of 'fanny.'

I think I'm going to keep it in and just be amused if anyone queries it.

Reviewers Sought - Message in a Bottle

It's really hard to get noticed. I thought that the writing part would be challenging but that's the easy bit. The tough bit is getting the word out there about my books.

From Hero to Zero

I've been thinking for the last two days that I was the next JK Rowling. What I thought was 1300 downloads, turns out to be pages read.

I really need some readers and reviewers, so would be grateful for anyone who would take a plunge into my Freshwater Bay books and help me get them off the blocks.

Popped My Cherry

I've posted my new four-part series onto Amazon.

It's set in Freshwater Bay on the West coast of Wales, and I look forward to meeting my readers who will spend time with me there, getting to know the Morgan brothers and the four amazing women who come into their lives.
